So the gist is this woman’s dogs are friendly but never leashed. When she’s out in front yard they run around no leashes or attached to a tree or anything. They then do their 1 & 2 business in neighbors yards front who many have young kids. She’s a nice lady but a few have told her to leash her dogs.
I come home from work Thursday night and my mom tells me don’t saying anything to my dad (my dad has had issues with this in the past with her dogs) but the dogs were in our backyard (our yard is fenced on one side but not the other side in the back) & before he could get them out of there the one dog decided to take a giant squat in our yard. Dad is obviously PO’d wanted to pick it up and put it on her front porch. Mom finally cleaned it after my dad got distracted with someone he knew who drove by and stopped. Completely forgot about it.
Law in our area of PA says all dogs not in a fenced yard need to be leashed and collard at all times. Neighbors including my parents have repeatedly voiced concerns to her. Her reaction is playing victim saying how sweet they are etc etc. all it takes is for one little kid in our neighborhood to agitate one of those dogs and the kid gets bitten. I said to my mom you should’ve just called the cops. My mom even thought about picking it up and knocking on her door and handing it to her but thought better.
Thinking of next time I see the dogs loose like that anonymous call to police about it. Make it some random person voicing concerns to her as I’d rather not create a whole sh** storm with this, but at the sametime she doesn’t listen.
Not really sure what else to do and I know other neighbors have said stuff to her because they tell us they said something. Right before winter I saw my Neighbor across the street having an adamant convo with her and he was clearly upset. My neighbor has a young puppy with anxiety and took her out to use the bathroom real fast and this women’s dogs must’ve been out and ran up to her. Scared her and everything. My neighbor told me he said something to her and one of these days karma will come back to bite her.
So it’s been an ongoing issue. She had two dogs prior to these two and use to do the samething. It’s getting to the point it’s unsafe with the dogs going wherever and she doesn’t pick up. From my house my neighbors on my left have young kids, two doors down little ones. Directly across from me little ones and on their left a kid lives there with disabilities who would pick it up without knowing better, the puppy of my neighbors and on my street alone it seems every other house has little kids now. It use to not be an issue as a few neighbors with younger kids moved or kids were older. We have quite a few younger couples now having kids who live here so the dogs are becoming much more of an issue.
