Pistols seems a little quaint....how about a televised Thunderdome? You profile each contestant, the nature of their beef, weapon options, and then the public texts in to vote which instrument of destruction is used in the duel. 

Two per show, Friday night in prime time (prolly has to be cable).

I just worry that 2 per show isn't going to be enough.  We'll have a backlog of duels.  

I think you have duels going on constantly, like court.  But you give the people the chance to vote on which argument that led to a duel will play out on Monday Night Duel.
