Good posting, Doug.Canader is pretty awesome. Still adjacent to ####ty America, but the women are cute and the weather's nice and all the sports are on at basically the same time and you don't have to learn a new language.
I thought of Prague but I'd worry about the language. I don't think I'd be able to learn a slavic language at this stage without major effort. Also, they get snow in the winter...Prague or some small Austrian town and just say f all to the world at large.
Cork reminded me of a smaller Pittsburgh. Maybe that's why you are attracted to it. For me, It would be Killarney, Ireland. In the US, probably Sedona
Outside the US: either Niagra-on-the-Lake, Canada or maybe Cork Ireland.
As far as I could tell everyone there spoke English...and Czech and Russian and German and French.I thought of Prague but I'd worry about the language. I don't think I'd be able to learn a slavic language at this stage without major effort. Also, they get snow in the winter...
We traveled throughout Austria a couple summers ago with the family of our Austrian exchange student. As we would pass these little tiny and seemingly idyllic Austrian towns with flower boxes under every window, I wondered what life in those towns must be like. Maybe not an easy existence, but certainly a much simpler one.Prague or some small Austrian town and just say f all to the world at large.
Don't think I've ever met a Scot that wasn't borderline insane - usually in a good wayFirst choice, in the middle of nowhere Canada, wherever that maybe. I've become disenchanted with people in general and the further away from them I get the happier I am. Put me in the woods with a cabin, small garden to sustain and I'd be happy to live out my life there.
Second choice would be Australia because I think the people there are just a hoot so if i have to be around folks, might as well be around some fun, cool ones.
I have an old friend that lives in Perth-area. The pics I see of it from her make it seem rather idyllic.First choice, in the middle of nowhere Canada, wherever that maybe. Why?I'd go back to Rio but not São Paulo (unless the money was very good).
Australia? What's special about it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyoming,_New_South_Wales? There are probably better places in Australia to choose from.Wyoming

Great town. Love all the towns along the coast there.Sweden, Norway or Biarritz, France
São Paulo is not charming in any way (Rio is) and traffic is seriously ####ed in São Paulo (it is in Rio too but in Rio there us the option of the metro). While São Paulo probably has better restaurants, Rio is not far behind. Why?
I've only ever seen it from surf movies but perfect waves, beautiful coast lines and topless beaches? Yeah, I'm definitely visiting one day.Great town. Love all the towns along the coast there.
Sweden has an immigrant problem, but for all the time I've spent there Stockholm is a mighty fine city.Sweden, Norway or Biarritz, France
One of the great things about Europe is how the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean, Baltic & Black Seas all have such different identities.Great town. Love all the towns along the coast there.
I read this article https://www.thesun.co.uk/world-cup-2018/6693439/sweden-tall-blonde-attractive/ and can only hope to become part of the immigration problem there.Sweden has an immigrant problem, but for all the time I've spent there Stockholm is a mighty fine city.
My how you have changed from the 80s...If I didn't live in America and could move anywhere I wanted to, I'd move to America.
Finally, someone answered the question correctly. If I didn't live in America and could move anywhere I wanted to, I'd move to America.
the Irish arent white - they're translucent and redSeems like a lot of you need to be around whites.
I'll give you the beer part of that statementSomewhere in Europe definitely. Better healthcare, better public transportation, better food in general. Probably Belgium so I could also have the best beer in the world.
