The movie Rocky was made when America was trying to feel good about itself again. It was about a little guy overcoming the odds. For you to perverse that is unbecoming.
There are plenty of non-face-punching real-life examples of America being made great by underdogs overcoming odds. Women getting the vote. Black people getting to go to integrated schools. Gay people being allowed to marry. Maybe you should find some pictures of that stuff.

Excuse me, there is nothing great about gay marriage. Do the research and you'll see there are no positive outcomes for that. Women getting the vote wasn't great, even Ann Coulter said women shouldn't be allowed to vote. They lack logic and vote on feels.

I agree that America has a long way to go in its treatment of trans individuals. Hopefully they will face less discrimination in the future.
