In the interest of fairness, Glennon looked really good yesterday. And other than VJax he doesn't have many weapons on offense.

So that means you really like Glennon's dynasty value, right? So then Schiano stays? Everything works out in the end?

No. God I hope not. Probably not.

This team is going to find a way to sneak to 5 wins and save that bum his job. They will miss out (or skip) on the top QBs and Clowney and draft a safety.

We'll be right back here next season, complaining about Schiano. I hate this team.

-a QB not named Bridgewater or Mariotta? Hundly, Manziel, Taj Boyd?

-We really need to upgrade pass rush

-I could see them going O-line and getting rid of one or two of the high priced vets.

-WR. This team really looked like it needed another option besides V-Jax and Williams. If Wright continues to progress he could be the guy, but we still need another target.

Be careful. The Bucs are minus their starting safety and starting MLB Foster, all because of another helmet to helmet hit by Goldson that led to his suspension plus knocked Foster for a concussion. Just know the score. I was at the last Bucs-Panthers game and the Bucs defensively had no answer for Cam Newton.

All I know is we better not hire another inexperienced guy like Raheem or Schiano. I want someone with head coaching experience. I would have to think the Glaziers have some kind of a plan in place, since they have had since week 6 to start thinking about it.

A bunch of questions,

-I wonder if they will go with an offensive minded coach? They were worst in the league...

-If they go with an O guy does that guarantee a 1st round QB?

-What is going to happen with these aging vet contracts on the O-line?

I just hope the Glaziers don't miss out on their first target again, and hire someone relatively quick. Their long search last time made us get stuck with a nobody like Schiano.

McKay got the team in a bad cap situation for many years, but he did help build a SB team. My only problem is neither McKay or Lovie could hit on a QB, and they are coming into a situation without a QB. I would take Lovie though.

La Canfora also stating Chris Ballard, director of player personnel for the Chiefs, could be part of the package coming to Tampa. Maybe he becomes the GM while McKay would be Team President.

Yea...doesn't look like a #1 pick will be used, but would be surprised if the Bucs didn't draft another QB in the 2nd or 4th. Homer in me would love McCarron. Glennon looked pretty good for a rookie, but I can't imagine a new regime will just hand him the keys.

There is definitely some talent on the team, but they have holes as well, and definitely need improved coaching.

My problem with the QB position in the draft is that I don't think we are drafting high enough to get Bridgewater or Manziel without trading up. It is going to be difficult to trade up without a 3rd round pick, and probably wouldn't be wise anyways. Guys like Broyles, Hundley, Carr, or Boyd don't excite me. A 2nd year Glennon may be just as good as any rookie, but odds are if we improve our team we won't be drafting this high next season.

I think the house-cleaning may occur on the o-line. If that is the case, then we may go OT in the 1st. DE is also a possibility with 3 guys looking like top 10 (Barr, Clowney, Mack).

With far superior coaching now in place, this team would be better next year if they didn't make another move. But I think they go after an edge rusher in free agency (Jared Allen makes too much sense) and then add another pass rusher or offensive threat at pick 7. They also have a high second round pick.

I'm usually not very confident about this team but I think they have a chance to get to 10 wins next year. The secondary is loaded, and with McCoy and David in the front 7, it's hard to get a lot better than that.

n 1995, Licht was hired by then-Miami Dolphins scout Tom Heckert as a scouting assistant before serving as the Dolphins' offensive assistant/quality control coach in 1996. He then spent the 1997 season working for the college scouting agency National Football Scouting and the 1998 season in the Carolina Panthers' scouting department. From 1999 through 2000, Licht served as a college scout for the Patriots before being promoted to national scout for them in 2001. He then was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in 2002, a position he held for one season before re-joining Heckert, then the Philadelphia Eagles' vice president of player personnel, in 2003 as the Eagles' assistant director of player personnel.[3]

I thought Smith was the best hire of any of the new coaches including O'Brien in Houston which I don't view as enthusiastic as others. But the GM on top which looks like a great hire, he'll have control over the draft. Smith has assembled great people around him, Bucs should be an improved team next year depending on the QB situation.

Ronde is a definite and Dungy will get in at some point. I don't think Lynch will ever make it.
