Interboard Challenge League 2015 (1 Viewer)

my team had a brutal week.

have Tyrod Taylor and Blount going tonight but probably will wind up with just a single win.

Scored only 85, which might be my worst week of the year. Still managed 3 wins though, although one was by a measly 0.8. Of course, one of my losses was the closest loss by any team for any board all year...0.02

2 weeks left until the playoffs. Yes, we're talking playoffs...

52 wins should be a lock for the championship tier. I suspect 51 wins will be the magic number this year.

Based on that Duckboy 53 and BTSW 52 are locked in.

Ruds at 49 wins needs 2-3 more wins.

Ref and Rene both are at 47 and need to find 4-5 wins out of the next 14 games.

Barring diaster we should have 5 teams in the championship tier. Adding a 6th would be a huge help in winning the overall title. FS has 6, Zeal has 4, and FFT has 5. FS won't get any more in and has 2 at risk. Zeal has one/two at risk and one just on the outside. FFT has two at risk and one long shot. We have 3 teams knocking at the door.

Old Mil at 41 wins likely needs to finish 10-4

Bro1 at 40 wins needs to finish 11-3

Clash at 39 wins needs to drop the hammer and finish 12-2

Those three teams need 43 wins to stay in the veteran tier so they should be secure barring a total collapse.

Sinrman and Sweet Love have 33 wins so they'll need to finish 10-4 to bump up a tier. Valence has 32 sins and will need an 11-3 finish. 33 wins should be enough to stay in this tier so they can be aggressive with lineup decisions to swing for those 10-11 wins.

Gringo needs to win 20 out of his next 14 games to move up a tier. Actually something needs to be done here to keep this team at least competitive. A win here or there not only impacts the teams overall placement, it could help move one of our other teams up a tier. Just having a kicker or starting Floyd (who has been his best WR) last week would have given him a win over a guy one spot in front of Clash and tied with Bro1.

FS/FFT/Zeal all have teams at risk of dropping down a tier.
Only five teams in the Vet tier can reach 52 wins. Leaning towards 51 being the dividing line and resorting to total points.

Duckboy and btsw - clinched champ tier. Well done gents.

Rene and Ref - sitting at 50 wins and a four game lead. Two wins would lock it up, one might be dicey.

Ruds - 49 wins but will holds the tiebreaker over everyone behind him.

Clash - Made a huge move this week with 7 wins to get to 46 wins and one game back of the cut line. He'll mostly likely need 6 wins to get us another team in the champ tier.

.500 is currently the dividing line between the Vet their and Rookie tier. 43 wins should get it done.

Bro1ncos - 42 wins.

Old Mill - 41 wins.

Sinrman 37 wins, Valence 36 wins, and Sweet Love 35 wins won't fall out of the rookie tier. 6 or 7 win weeks gets them in the conversation to tier up. Looks like they to swing for the fences this week.

Gingo is looked into the watery tier. He should get J. Allen this week if someone submits the bid for this team.

RB - Javorius Allen, Spencer Ware, James White (just one left), Shaun Draughn

WR - Funchess, Shorts, Stills Latimer

TE - Rudolph (ughh), Brent Celek

Thoughts??

QB - Fitz has been Mr. Consistant. 5 weeks in a row with 19+ ppg

Note that QB 6 to QB 24 separated by 4 ppg. Antoher ppg gets you QB 4 and 5.

RB - Bradshaw, Draughin, White, and Allen all posted 15 pts+. There's enough of them out there that anyone needing a RB should get one

WR - Keyshawn Martin? it's getting real thin in NE. I kind of like Shorts being the best options. Funchess is dependable for points. Myabe Ruds can weigh in on Chris Hogan

TE - Maybe add Thomas to SL's list above.

K - Lots of options. Start thinking about the weather.

D - Decent cold weather D's out there like Buffalo and GB. i haven't checked their schedules though.

Right now I have starting for week 12:

Bortles

Ivory

Decker

Hurns

Lockett

Tate

Olsen

Should I consider any of these? T Austin, T Benjamin, V Davis? With Lynch now out for awhile (yet ANOTHER injury), my options continue to plummet.

Id be ok with what you are rolling out....don't like any of your other options more... Good luck

You need 6 to 7 wins. Benjamin probably offers the most upside. I probably replace Lockett.

Rene - Great work on Gringo's team. 174 w Denver to go. High score for the week.

Clash is sitting in 2nd with 169.

SL, Bro1, and btsw knocking on the top 10 door.

Valance is the only team in the bottom 30. Ref is around 35th from the bottom with Brady and a K to go.

Championship Tier

Duckboy - already in

BTSW - already in

Stinkin Ref - 3 wins with 126 pts, now in

Rene - One win locked. With 124 you wouldn't think he'd be sweating a 2nd win but he is. Needs Barnridge not to post 20+

Ruds - Looking dicey. If Gilmore gets ten points he gets two wins.

Clash - Got the sweep he needed this week to tier up. Huge for team FBG if it's not at the expense of Ruds/Rene

Veteran Tier

Bro1 - currently leading in 7 games, clinched a Vet spot.

Old Mil - currently leading in 5 games but has 3 wins locked, clinched a Vet spot.

Rookie

Sweet Love - Sweep the table (7-0) this week. Finishes dead on at .500. Will come down to total points tie breaker.

Valance / Sinrman - Locked up spots last week.

Waterboy Tier

Gringo - Ashame Rene didn't have the reigns earlier. Week 12 high scorer.

Aargyle (FFLW) 112.46 Details Rudnicki (FBG) 112.54 Ruds 2nd win on the week. That gets him to 51 wins on the season. I think that will do it.

He definitely did.

Sweet Love is the nail biter. He's got to fall right on the cut line so total points could be important.

Sure would be sweet to go into the playoffs with 6/3/2/1

Yes! Perfect time to have a good week and push all the right buttons! Guy right behind me (at 41 wins) also went 7-0, so I JUST got in there.

Free Agent Thoughts

TE - Got to think Chandler is a must add. 8 versions out there. Hopefully he lasts to us. MacDonald has two straight 15 point weeks. Is he smoke and mirrors? Rudolph seems to be back in the mix. Cameron Brate, Will The..a whole slew of guys that I've never heard of out performing Witten.

QB - Everyone shuns him (Fitzpatrick) but he's basically a mid QB1 in this league.

RB - Draughn still has a version left.

WR - Pretty bleak. Devante Parker is playing. Anyone feel strongly about him?

K - Just start anyone besides whoever Ref streams this week. Take a hard look at your schedule and move you kickers indoors and south.

D - Wash is a top ten Def that no one owns. Maybe dip guru Ruds can chime in here.

Congrats. Your tier up very well may be the difference needed to close the 17 pt gap. It improved our playoff ceiling by 23 pts (less any games against FBGs).

think R. Mathews blew out some ribs or something.....MIA should still be chucking it this week against a decent BAL rush def and not so decent pass def......Parker lots of targets and that should probably continue if Mathews out.... so count me as one who feels pretty strongly about him.....might be considered one of the top ww claims this week after Chandler

matchups are probably most important factor at this point.

WAS: DAL, @CHI, BUF

TB: ATL, NO, @STL

PIT: IND, @CIN, DEN

MIN: SEA, @ARI, CHI

HOU: @BUF, NE, @IND

BUF: HOU, @PHI, @WAS

these are top scoring FA defenses, although only 1 Texans defense left. I think they are the best pick for this week, but that Washington schedule looks pretty good over the next 3+ weeks.

Rough start for team FBG with 3 Calvin owners and no R. Rodgers owners. Fortunately only 3 of 7 Rodgers owners started him.

Ref has won 2. Down 2, 3, 8, and 38 in the other four with Witten and DJax remaining.

I am getting crushed...oddly, not a bad week either. I am at 102 with Witten and Bailey left to play, but don't think I will get a win. I lost Stevie Johnson (got hurt before he got any points), and that will end up killing me.

Should have 4 in the bag. Need 9 from Washington D for another, and WSH+8 vs Dez in the other.

125, but going to be 2-4 this week. :(

Last week I should have taken Bass's advice and gone with Benjamin instead of Lockett and lost a game or two because of it. This time I decided to do exactly that, and Benjamin got me zilch and Lockett got about 17. Probably

cost me a game, possibly two.

Can't ever make my mind up on these guys... pick 4:

T Austin

T Benjamin

M Colston

E Decker

A Hurns

T Lockett

G Tate

R Woods

I currently have Decker, Hurns, Benjamin, and Tate in. Would love to get Lockett in, too, but can't with that group..

I suck at this stuff (unless it's just not starting Denver RBs) and usually just defer to Dodds. I was a big Lockett fan and was suggesting him for weeks as a ww pick up. Last week looked good but he only had 7 targets (converted all of them). You also don't get credit for return TDs in this league so don't let that be a tipping point. Benjamin did hurt his shoulder last week. Make sure he's actually playing. Browns aren't playing for anything so no need to rush him back.

Suggestion on this group, need two (Rawls/Brown/Calvin locked in)….Targetting 150 points each week as opposed to 125 in the regular season

Anderson/Hillman @ OAK

Lamar Miller @ NYG Monday Nite

Adams v. DAL

Aiken v. SEA

Parker @ NYG Monday NiteDJax @ CHI

FBG has them ranked as Aiken, Miller, DJax, second TE, all the rest around 10 pts. I don't see Aiken v. Sherman being a positive matchup. Not liking DJaxs target numbers but he's producing with them. Parker seems to fall into the same category. Giants have been tough on RBs fantasy wise.

TE Watson or Witten - Leaning Watson, FBG has them as a push. I think he has more upside.

Anderson probably out with ankle

Hillman gets start and maybe more touches with Thompson spelling him

Miller is out this this week with a he is dead to me designation

Adams a decent matchup

Aiken not a decent matchup

Starting to like me sum Parker NYG pass def is brutal

Dsux needs the big play or you are staring at 5 points a week

IMO 2 of Adams, Parker, Dsux

leaning Watson too....

but I'd love to hear some teammates chime in

Adams is getting fewer looks and seeing his role erode.

Wish we hadn't be so good at assembling mediocre talent.

If you are looking upside as opposed to safety, I'd go Parker/DJax/Hillman (if CJ is out) or Aiken (if not). Don't like Aiken versus Sherman either but he may see a ton of targets.

Need to scope the WW for a TE option. Tried to move an RB/WR for one but nobody was biting, now it's a hole.

I'd agree with your 4, with Lockett as the fallback for Benjamin. Baltimore pass D is a sieve...

Curious on people's thoughts about upside. 6 of us in the champ tier are facing better than average teams. I'm assuming the typical good 125-130 week won't net the wins we need.

Lots of Hightower copies left. Not plug and play this week, but if when Spiller gets hurt he could be a RB1.

I still go with who I think is going to get the most points :banned:

That said, anything close I'd rather put in the guy who will get 4 or 40 versus the guy who will get 10 or 15.

We caught 3 of the AP owners. I guess 15.6 down is much better than it could have been.

Actually...130 will still net winning record most of the time.

Gringo and I both off to a good start to the week with Floyd :) Gringo also had David Johnson going.

Was mildly surprised by the mediocre week 1 result. We did well in the top tier, not so well in the other tiers. Still very much in it though.
