You really need some help. The fact you looked that up is just pathetic.I stand by my prediction for Favre this year. Everyone wants to rip on him for last night yet forget he played well last week against Atlanta.Palmer.Fla\/\/ed,
If you were running an NFL team for this year (2006), only, and you were choosing a QB for that team, which QB would you take, Favre or Palmer?Find me a post where I have stated that Favre is a top 10 QB.

Ball security is a decision. Plain and simple. How many times has a ball "slipped from the mans hands" in the last few years? Especially early in ball games? How has that affected momentum? He needs to be more secure with the footballs. It's a decision. As I said, I'm in your corner on this. But calling a ball that slips from the mans hands a 'bad decision' is foolish. And yes, Favre looks horrible, I am far from an apologist.Oh my God. I actually think Flawed is wrong and you are right, but this is the DUMBEST posting ever. A ball slipping out of his hand is a 'decision'???? "Hmmm... I could hold on to this ball, or I could let it go...yep, I think I'll let it go!"A tipped pass? This is a result of the WCO and the shallow crossing routes that it calls for, not bad decisions...Favre looked awful, no doubt. But learn how to make a point...Bratt Favre's bad decisions last night:Brett Favre fumbled the ball after it popped out of his throwing hand with no contact involved. Bengals safety Dexter Jackson scooped up the loose ball and took it to the end zone.---This happens to Favre often. Why? During the Packers' latest possession, Favre's pass on first down was tipped and nearly intercepted. On second down, Favre was sacked. On third down, Favre's pass to Green was incomplete - and it looked as if the ball was knocked away by a defender. ---Two passes tipped/batted by defenders = bad decisions. He did settle down a bit after those plays.![]()
Fine, then he's just bad. He didn't choose to fumble, but he's surely choosing how secure he wants to be with the ball. His choices on that front aren't good, as he's fumbled just like that on many occassions. If you choose to be careless, you will fumble. That's a decision. The pass that was picked off was bad too. Does that make it all better for you? Are we really going to nicpick about Favre making bad decision and Favre just playing like horse####? Are all of the Packer faithful now going to admit that he just isn't very good anymore?I'll say this. Maybe it's not bad decisions as much as the guy's accuracy just ain't what it once was. I'm not the only one noticing either:"There have been times in camp, where I've wondered about Favre's accuracy." "He wasn't very accurate""On the interception, the ball skipped off Driver's hands. It might have been catchable, but it also was a high throw. "--Cliff ChristlAnd how many times have we seen Favre drop the ball without getting hit lately? I'm not the only one noticing that either. It seems to happen more often than other QBs. I'd be curious if anyone has an opinion on why that is, because I can't figure it out.And let me repeat this: I'm a Packer fan and I love Favre, but you're seriously over the edge. No matter what you think, Favre can and does make bad decisions. He did it last night, and he'll probably do it next week, and the opening game against Chicago. This is called reality. He is not Brett Favre circa 1996. He is Brett Favre circa 2006. He is not an MVP.

So when a QB is blindsided and fumbles it was a bad decision? Or Favre made a decision to fumble that ball last night?Ball security is a decision. not quite.Soooo...has this thread been wrecked yet?
Ball security is a decision, plain and simple. The scenario you laid out there is NOT what happened last night, not even close. You think Favre takes care of the football? It sure doesn't appear that way.Oh, and add some more of these.....So when a QB is blindsided and fumbles it was a bad decision? Patience, grasshopper.not quite.Soooo...has this thread been wrecked yet?
It's not that it was a decision. No player would decide to drop the ball. It's the fact that he is careless with the ball. It's becoming more frequent with him because he tries too hard instead of taking what (if anything) the defense gives him. He's gotten worse the last few years (obviously). He's getting to the point to where he's starting to look like an Aaron Brooks out there. Forcing the ball, throwing interceptions, fumbling, throwing it backwards, between his legs, bouncing it off obstructions...get the picture? It's just ugly football. :XSo when a QB is blindsided and fumbles it was a bad decision? Or Favre made a decision to fumble that ball last night?![]()
Did you read what Man in the Yellow hat wrote? Ball security is a decision according to him. It's not that it was a decision. No player would decide to drop the ball. :XSo when a QB is blindsided and fumbles it was a bad decision? Or Favre made a decision to fumble that ball last night?![]()
and again you can't ignore me.Looks like it's getting pretty close. Do you think he's going to go into spontaneous combustion one of these days? Seems like he's about to explode considering the number of posts he's machine gunning out.
So....if ball security is a decision then according to you Favre made a decision to fumble the ball last night.Ball security is a responsibility not a decision.Ball security is a decision, plain and simple.
