Javarris James (1 Viewer)

Teams have been tearing TEN run def up lately...520 rush yards combined over their last three games. Hart, Addai and Brown are all iffy to play. He may be the feature back this week. I could easily see a couple of short Tds and 60 yds. Not a bad RB2 option imo.

He definitely passes the eyeball test. I don't know anything about reports out of Indy and whatnot, but watching that last game it seemed pretty clear James is the best back on that roster.

I don't agree with this, but I do think he is good enough to produce given the workload he is in line for. Not a bad option for this week.

Addai, Brown, hart are all hurt. Indy may be re-signing Dom Rhodes. That tells me James will probably start.

Phillip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star expects Donald Brown (ankle) to start against the Titans Thursday night.

Brown was listed on Monday's injury report as a would-be non-participant, but he was able return to action on Tuesday. Wilson has Javarris James second in the pecking order and Dominic Rhodes third as a possible kickoff returner. James remains the favorite for goal-line work. If Brown does start, Rhodes isn't a good bet to carry the ball at all. Mike Hart (ankle) isn't expected to play in Week 14.

Yeah, if you're Helen Keller, but he can be of some use because of his goal line ops.

I like JJ this week, even with Brown starting simply b/c he'll get the GL work. He's probably in line for 20-30 yds and 2 scores if not more - Brown may not be able to finish the game.

I for one am watching this one closely. Decimated at RB going into FF playoffs, I surely could use James IF he starts. Johnny U, with all due respect, does James look any worse that Brown at this point? I was a huge predraft Brown fan, but he has been pretty disappointing as a Colt IMO. People ragged on Addai, but he was far better than any of these other RB's. I suppose the Colts CS has little confidence in James as an every down (or 1st and 2nd down) RB, But I don't think he can be much worse than Brown. Maybe with the Colts O line being as bad as it is, Brown is preferred, but he hasn't shown much as a pass blocker either. With one of the worst running games in the NFL... why not James for a game start?

Brown is terrible, but that doesn't mean I'm going to start an Indy RB anytime soon in any of my leagues. The only way I would play James is if I'm forced to. No Indy back is worth a damn right now and I think Manning should pass on every down, even if he is throwing pick sixes a couple times a game.

My rb's are in terrible shape and my matchup are worse. I've been rolling with Benson and Jacobs most of the year so I picked up Choice and James and put both in my lineup this week.

Cool.

schefter said tamme wayne and britt were all ACTIVE while Addai and Hart were INACTIVE. No Mention of Brown.

Smells fishy. Guy should be active but who starts?

Brown is active and will start, but James has been getting the goal lone carries. I see him getting some carries at the goal line tonight, question is does he get in, I say yes. But who has the stones to start him, i say me.

Considering my other options are Forsett and Reggie Bush, I'm rolling with James.

Starting him over Benson, I got a tough matchup this week gotta roll the dice
A lot of people having issues at runner this year.I have LT, Benson, Ivory, TJones, and JJames....say it together "POOOOOOPPPPP"sometimes you have to go for the home run to have a chance at all, well batter up!

I get nervous starting the goalline vulture, what if they are never there? If you're swinging for the fences, he's not the guy.

Just spent my last $1 in waiver wire money to pick him up and start him tonight. My RB's are LOL bad, so I pray this pays off. Worst case, it's no worse than I was prior to making the move. Please, 1 TD is all I ask. Anything more than that is gravy.

I decided to start James, while I doubt few care. I have Manning, so I figure this way my chances of getting some credit for any INDY TD tonight are pretty good. I'm anxious to say the least if James gets more than a handful of carries. Inital reports with week were that Brown was dinged up, ankle I beleive, but he practiced fully.

LOL... if you are watching NFL NW... who is Domique R-R-R-Rodgers?
