Just happy to be in the championship game? (1 Viewer)

Who else is feelin what I'm feelin'? Am I even happy though knowing I got here and it's a mismatch?

I'm trying to be optimistic and it would be wonderful to win because it's such a hard and competitive league and there's so much luck involved and we have a belt, but in the final of my 14 team PPR redraft this week I'm going up against Brady, SJax and LT2. How does that happen in a redraft? The guy drafted Moss in the fifth and traded him while he was hot with Marshawn Lynch for LT and Calvin Johnson.

I've got a whole team of up and downers led by Jay Cutler although I'm happy Kolby Smith was still on the wire after dropping him after the Oakland game.

My team: Cutler, Stecker (or Bush,) Kolby Smith, Fred Taylor, Terrell Owens, Anthony Gonzales, Antonio Gates, Nate Kaeding, James Harrison, Barrett Ruud, Sean Jones My bench: Bulger, Reggie Bush, Dominic Rhodes, Lee Evans, Bernard Berrian, Todd Heap.

I've been telling myself for a coupla days that I'm going to win for various reasons now I've kinda been slapped by reality in the face.

Anybody else finally have reality kick them in the butt?

Two years ago I made it to the championship game in my league only to face an owner who had both Manning and LT (mid-season trade for LT). Thought for sure I was screwed, but as it turned out my team put up its highest point total of the year and I won.

It's only one game - unexpected things can happen!

I'm in the same boat. Take away Brady and his team is mediocre at best. Here's to hoping for another ground game performance from Maroney.

Been there. A few years ago when Philly had locked up home field advantage about week 14 my only healthy QB was McNabb. My other two QB's were injured after the trade/WW deadline. McNabb faced my Rams week 16. He played 1 series. Threw for a TD and got me like 6 points. I lost 94-92. If he plays one more drive I win....

It sucked going in that I may only get a half out of my QB. And then only getting a drive was brutal.

Weird things can happen....

I played in the finals of a 20 team dynasty last season where my opponent had SJax, Wayne, Fitz, CJ, McGahee, Romo, Palmer, and Delhomme in a "best ball" scoring system. I had Bulger, TO, LJ, and a bunch of scrubs. His receivers did NOTHING and Bulger's big game nixed Jackson's big game. I won by 2 points, IIRC.

Holy crap! He still has LT to go this week, but I am looking at a 158 to 72 (plus whatever LT scores) lead heading into the second half (Week 17). This could matchup nicely with the biggest upset in my 15 year history of fantasy football....then again, his team is so much better that he'll probably come bak to win.Now, who do I pick up for Peyton Manning, Dallas Clark and Aaron Stecker (if he is hurt)? I have a pending claim on Davenport, that could be a nice replacement for Stecker. Maybe a Todd Collins pickup is in order? That would be funny as hell to win with this crappy lineup.
