Karlos Williams, RB (BUF) (1 Viewer)

Oh hell yes!!!
I've got Karlos as well but really? Stay classy.

Twitter is saying depending on severity could be anywhere from 0-4 weeks.
Stay classy? You are kidding right?
No I'm not kidding. Why would I be? A "Hell, yes!" reply to a McCoy injury?
This is FANTASY football....a game. Sorry man, but I hope he is done for the season. Nothing against McCoy personally you understand.
It's still kind of lame to openly root or celebrate an injury. We all have been in the spot were an injury helps us, but we shouldn't gloat or celebrate it.

Wow, good news he's not done for the season. That's an unbelievably disgusting comment.

Pretty sure Lesean McCoy is a real person. Rooting for a person to be seriously hurt is screwed up.

Couple of DB of the day award winners right here.

His first TD came before McCoy got injured, by the way, iirc. He's a decent play even with a healthy McCoy. The fact that McCoy just seems to keep getting nicked up just adds to his value. Of course, he has to keep himself on the field, too.

Would you guys give this nonsense a rest. No one needs a morality lesson in a fantasy football forum and no one is rooting for anyone to get hurt. Move along. Nothing to see here. Karlos Williams discussion thread.

Mccoy dinged his shoulder early, and scored long before Williams did. He aggravated it and Williams started to get more work. Later in the game Mccoy just stayed in the bench while Williams mopped up. The first Williams td, like a couple of his earlier tds, was a red zone carry but not from inside the 5 or even 10 iirc. It probably looks like he's getting goal line carries but we really haven't seen them both healthy on the field at the same time to know how that split works.

Overall it's nice to see the kid play well after that brutal concussion. Good for him.

Underachiever's is getting called out for his post as should you. No room on a FF message board for rooting for an NFL player to get hurt so that your FF team benefits.

No really, no matter your opinion, let's give this topic a rest.

Karlos looking like a boss. Shady appears to be breaking down a little as most rbs do. If Shady is out, let's hope Williams can make a statement this time.

Karlos and David Johnson definitely look like the most intriguing rookie RBs (Gurley isn't intriguing, he's dominant). It just seems like if either was guaranteed 15-20 touches a game, they would be tearing the league up.

It's Shady all the way. However, I think Karlos will always get touches, especially around the GL. He is a flex when McCoy is playing. I play in standard and every game Karlos has been active, he has been at least an RB2 level start:

11, 9, 17, 13 and 23. That is 14.8 a game. That is between what Ivory and Bell have been averaging this year or 5th best in fantasy. He's doing that on about 11 touches a game.

I saw the tackle (by Misi?) About 5m into the 4th, when the tackler fell hard on top of him. It reminded me of some collarbone injuries we've seen. I didn't realize that was additional injury to a previous injury earlier in the game. I did doze off a bit early and was skipping around on GameMix.

There are a lot of rushing yards to be had in this offense so there's room for both, as long as you aren't counting on Karlos to be your FF #1.

It is tough with a Thursday Game. I am currently deciding between him and Latavius with the injury.

Even though NYJ are a tough matchup, I wonder how much the game flow will benefit him. If it is a grind it out type of game with Taylor rushing a lot, it may open things up for Williams - especially on the goal line.

Own Karlos and McCoy.

This probably sounds dumb, but I find it hard to start Karlos, but halfway expect him to score more points.

I can imagine this dilemma if I had both.

My gut tells me that Shady plays but it will be more of a 50/50 split with Karlos having more TD upside IMO. I'd go with Karlos this week.

Starting both is intriguing. Should have last week. Cost me a win. Started Spiller at flex instead who I had just "won" off waivers. Yay.

Not a bad idea either.. I was having some success starting Lewis/Blount. You'd think it would cap both of their upsides but as we've seen multiple times they can both thrive in their own way.

Karlos has scored a touchdown in every NFL game he's ever played. You could take a flyer on a worse guy. I may be talking myself in flexing him. Which probably means donuts for both him and McCoy.

With both Forte and Latavius Murray probably not playing this week, I'm playing Karlos as my rb2 alongside gurley in a 14 teamer 1pt ppr. I'm hopeful

Though wouldn't be surprised if one of them ends up playing and Karlos finally doesn't score. Lol

I'm not sure "intriguing" is the word I'd use against the Jets' front. Your game might be over before it even begins.

BYE week issues so it's Karlos or Matt Jones. At least Karlos has done something in living memory so i'll probably roll him out and hope for 40 and a TD.

Your Raiders were pretty effective running the ball against them a few weeks ago.

"Williams became the seventh player in NFL history to score a touchdown in each of his first five career games."

From Chris Wesseling's next gen stats article posted in the Watkins thread.

Road game though. And that entire game got away from them. I'm gonna look up their home/road rushing D splits. I probably have to play Karlos anyway. If not him, it's Nate Washington or a very banged up Hurns, so the options aren't great.
