LenDale may not play (knee) (1 Viewer)

I can not explain to you as a CJ owner how much I have wanted Fatdale to go down. Perfect timing. Although I do have CJ against me in one league. I hope he decides to give it a rest. Something tells me he will try to vulture again though.

Good god. Just when I thought had it bad..I'm only starting LenDale because I lost Gore and Hillis last week :P

First Addai and now LenDale....

Jacobs, Gore, Portis, MBIII, Hillis, Lynch's shoulder...anyone else I am missing? All of a sudden all these guys are banged up.

I own Dom Rhodes and ChJohnson (and Ward)...so, I just am not sure I can believe the news.

I hope he plays CJ has been doing just fine with him in there. Keeps him fresh.
Keep him fresh for what? The Super Bowl is next week v Pittsburgh. We're in the home stretch here. I want him to get as many carries as possible this week without any potential of Lendale vulturing TDs as he did last time v Houston.

I am in the same boat....would love to have Rhodes and CJ3 going for me this week with Lendale and Addai out.

Some bad Karma is coming to a thread near you!
I agree. I'm a Johnson owner and I'd love for him to get the carries with no LenDale threat to rob him of carries and most importantly potential TDs. But I'm not going to wish injury upon him. If he plays, we no Johnson can do well and potentially extremely well. If White sits, that's great for Johnson and significantly great for his TD potential. Let's see how it plays out Sunday morning.

I think he is fine with White in there - though I wouldn't mind a few TDs this week, especially with Bush giving me very little.

This SCREAMS Chris Henry as a sneaky play.
per Rotoworld
The Titans' coaches claim they have confidence in backup tailback Chris Henry and would use him if Chris Johnson or LenDale White went down.He isn't good enough on special teams to be "up" on game day and remains raw as a runner after barely playing in college. The Nashville Tennessean believes that Quinton Ganther, not Henry, is actually third on the depth chart.

This would make up for my opponent having the Rhodes start fall right in his lap.
starting rhodes over thomas jones...
NOW you are getting a bit nutty....AND hijacking the thread. You have to AT LEAST pretend to give a crap about LenDale or ChJohnson or Chis TENry or Quinton Ganther (who I believe is named after a Jedi). And I TOTALLY remember you as the originator of the recent fishy/WDIS fishing "I am starting ___ over TJones thread...boooooo! to you!

Man... semis this week, I own ADP, DWill, C Johnson... and it's not a flex league so I can only start two!!!!!

This makes the decision even tougher. Each week I've ended up benching the wrong guy too. Ugh.

I think that they are just resting LenDale. He will play, and he has been getting an awful lot of carries. I think that they are pounding him, and trying to keep Johnson fresh for the playoffs.

They can lock up HFA for the playoffs with a win and PIT loss -- why would they risk it here?

I don't think that they are risking anything by having LenDale carry a larger load than Chris Johnson. They have already done it the past two games.

Lendale's getting most of those carries in mop up time though-- the circumstance of the game will determine that. I think Houston can stay in the game long enough for CJ to get his fair share... Plus, White's banged up while CJ isn't... makes sense to get CJ his normal carries and let White get a little healthier- than cut into CJ's carries and wear down White's knee more.

Actually, last game against Cleveland they went 50-50 for most the game and at the end Lendale got more.1st qtr CJ 4 carries and Lendale 6

2nd qtr CJ 6 carries and Lendale 4

3rd qtr CJ 4 carries and Lendale 4

4th qtr CJ 5 carries and Lendale 10

To take care of the first part of that equation?

From what I heard in her ESPN chat, Stephania Bell agrees with you. The Whale has been getting a lot of carries, ever since he popped off about not getting to play much in the loss to the Jets. I have a feeling it will be more of the same for the Whale vs. the Texans; he will get around 60 yards rushing and a TD or two.

I'd love to know what CJs numbers would have been this year without that vulture blob behind him
Nothing like they are now as he would have been injured or seriously burned out from overuse. The dual headed approach works for them. Why change what works?
