When I see stories like this, I have to ask myself, which side would be more likely to be exaggerating the truth?
- The side saying he's out for a long time - Why would you say he's out longer than he is?
-The side saying he's not out for long - Why would they say he's NOT going to be out?
To me (a non-McCoy or Gillese owner), I tend to believe that the groups saying he won't be out for long has more to gain by exaggerating/lying. Look at nearly every case of a reported injury to big-name players this year (Peterson, Dez, etc). There were mixed reports that they could play THAT week, and others saying out for a while. In every case, the player was out for a while.
