Some people think aliases are like illegal aliens. They add entertainment and value to the board. They want to bring them out of the shadows and lift the ban. Others, think aliases are a nuisance and that the rules are the rules.

From what I have gathered the mods do not enforce the alias ban unless you are a well respected long time poster who isn't afraid to call someone a ##### when they are acting like a #####. Then they ban you and all of our alias accounts.

I have hesitated on creating an alias because I just assumed the mods ip checked every account before it was approved. Setting a fake location through a vpn just seemed like too much work. 

ETA: Apparently aliases are legal. Be right back.
