Joe Montana: "I think I'm going to go upstairs and masturbate"

Big fan of the Harry Caray (Ferrell) interview with Jeff Goldblum as an astronomer.

Space: The Infinite Frontier

Goldblum really has a hard time not laughing, but keeps it together.
One of my favorites. I am surprised it took this long for it to be mentioned.I also loved the Japanesse game show skit, not sure the name of it. Alec Baldwin hosted and I remember Farley was in it.

I don't think the GD skit was even scripted...Goldblum looks completely at a loss for words...wonder if the prompter went down and Ferrell just kept right on going. Just an observation.

What's The Best Way gameshow with Phil Hartman, Glenn Close, Adam Sandler, Tim Meadows and Kevin Nealon hosting. Boston area folks giving directions.

Opening with Paul Simon Hosting -- Singer enters from one side, Senator from IL from the other, and they argue over who was invited to host.

John Belushi as Samurai -- Especially the one where he accidentally nicks Buck Henry's ear with his sword.

Cumberland Farms with Conan O'Brien and Ben Affleck

McLauglin Group - Halloween Edition -- The real John McLaughlin walks in dressed as Grim Reeper, removes hood, pushing fake McLaughlin (Dana Carvey) out of his chair, and real McLaughlin takes his seat, and finishes scene.

Special Bit...

Weekend Update with Dennis Miller after Vanilla Ice does "Ice, Ice Baby" with the stolen Queen bit. He has Under Pressure play over his opening, and makes a comment about how that song sounded like it was written yesterday.

I don't think Ferrell's impersonations were ever "spot on" but they were funny as hell. His GWB was only slighly similar to the real GW but still got me laughing.

"White Like Me" Eddie Murphy

The one where he dresses as a white guy and white people start giving him stuff for free, partying when only whites are around, etc.

If it were some made up character, it would be funny. To say it's Harry Caray just makes it suck IMO

Can't list 5 favorites so I'll list 5 that no one has listed yet:

1. The phony infomercial with the racist Heather Locklear

2. Tonto, Tarzan and Frankenstein on a talk show (with Phil Hartman breaking character and destroying the set  )

3. The Penis Song

4. Mr. Short Term Memory ("Hey, a wallet!" "That's your wallet!" "It is now!")

5. since "Get Off The Shed" was already mentioned, I'll nominate the Mr. Peepers skit with The Rock as Mr. Peepers' dad

Anybody remember the commercial spoof of "The Color of Money" with the main character bowling instead of playing Pool? One of my all time favorites.
That was actually a short film that had been submitted by then-unknown Ben Stiller, who was subsequently hired the following season as a featured player.

Some that I haven't seen yet:

1. Michael Jodan with Stuart Smalley

2. Jim Carrey - "Ride the Snake"

3. Alec Baldwin - Pyramid of Pain

4. Bob Dole real world - that's Bob Dole's chair - get off!!!

5. Goat Boy/Pesci show - always cracked me up

The clinton impressions and Ferell's GWB was gold!!!

So that you can be on the lookpout for reruns...Its from the episode where Eddie Murphy is guest star the year after he left the show. Same episode as the "I'm buying this newspaper".Greatest single episode ever.

This was the first one I thought of and I was shocked I got to page two without it being mentioned.

Wait, has the Martin Short/Harry Shearer men's synchronized swimming skit been mentioned yet?

ETA: "We dig a hole, we dig a hole, we dig a hole..."

My favorite was the Full Metal Jacket spoof when Matthew Modine hosted and Phil Hartman did R. Lee Ermy.
Wow, I was going to post this but I didn't think anyone else would remember it. Hartman was :lmao: as The Drill Sergeant Who Was Really Bad At Ironic Nicknames."You remind me of my dog! From now on, your nickname is............Reminds Me Of Doggie!"

1. Nude House of Wacky People (Mike Myers as Japanese guy).

2. Tales of the Runaway Boulder (with Robert Wagner)

3. Nat X with Kevin Bacon as Vanilla Ice

4. The one with Steven Segal where he goes up against a crime syndicate and throws Phil Hartman through the wall.

5. Sprockets with Dana Carvey as Jimmy Stewart.

Honorable Mention: "Jew, Not a Jew" game show hosted by Tom Hanks.

2. Tales of the Runaway Boulder (with Robert Wagner)
Lots of quality sketches in that episode:- "Swivel Chair Mystery Theatre" (where the plot is driven by the dramatic "swivel chair" maneuver)- "A Betty Ford Straight Arrow Christmas" (Johnny Cash and Liza Minelli sing songs about sobriety)- "In The Middle" (a talk show where Wagner plays host to two guys with opposite views.....and everytime one of them makes a point, he says "Doodle-oo!" -- kind of a precursor to the sketch with the scientists "zinging" and "burning" each other)

The one where a debonair Wagner goes out to eat with a young woman and has horrible table manners is another :lmao: sketch.

A favorite on mine not listed yet is "Common Knowledge": Jeopardy-like game show (hosted by Steve Martin) where the correct answers to the questions were determined by a poll of high school seniors. The contestants were Jeane Kirkpatrick (Nora Dunn) and some bonehead (Kevin Nealon) who crushed Jeane in the game. Nealon's character swept the "State Capitals" category by "correctly" identifying New York's capital as New York City, Washington's capital as Washington, D.C., and Virginia's capital as Virginia City. There was a Lightning Round where the contestants had high school seniors as partners in a Pyramid clue/answer game: "Dennis the Menace..." "President Mitchell" "No, his neighbor" "Woodrow Wilson" DING!
"Hernest Emingway!"

5 underrated Phil Hartman sketches:

- "Robot Repair"

- the washed up 1940s actor ("What's the word on the street??")

- Ronald Reagan as the Iran-Contra mastermind

- Charlton Heston reading excerpts from Madonna's "Sex" book. ("What if I just say 'I like to touch my pushy?'")

- All Drug Olympics

"Guy Talk", hosted by some east coast guido (Joe Piscopo) "where guys can be guys!" Tonight's guests are Michael Jackson and Liberace."Michael, it's said that Diana Ross discovered you. Are you discovering her? Huh? Huh?"
 "Brrrrrrrrrrumski!"

That's when he keeps getting interrupted to take pictures with Girl scouts, etc. right? Good one. Also, don't know if anyone mentioned the Clinton one where he's running and stops at McD's with secret service..."Warlords!"

My friends and I just made lists of our faves a few weeks ago, and most of mine have already been mentioned. But one that hasn't:

Anal Retentive Chef

Cracked me up every time.
