They never used Coleman right. He and Sony Michel of all guys helped me win a deep league title last year. Always loved Coleman's straight line speed, he just needed to be more shifty. 49ers line, from the looks of it, is a good thing.

They had already signed Freeman, and couldn't get out of his deal. I don't think they erred by letting Coleman walk. They erred by not addressing the position with anything other than a late pick.
