**MNF - Bears at Vikings** (-3, 44) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Fields is not an accurate QB.
He was 12/12 earlier in the game. :oldunsure:

Saw Mahomes air mail a pass just that yesterday. Nobody’s perfect.
62% on the year
He’s improving?
I really hope the Bears do not trade him. They will likely have 2 very high draft picks and should build around him. Get him a good offensive line and build up that defense. The dude is the most explosive QB in the league if they let him loose. You don't give up on a guy like that this early in his career. You build around him IMO.

Good thing I wrapped my game up with Hockenson yesterday. Memories of last Monday with AJ Brown. Mondays suck

I think they can do better than using those 2 draft picks. Someone is gonna pay big for Caleb and/or Drake. Keep Fields, trade both picks for a haul, and pick an extra QB with one of the 6+ picks they get back. Use all the other picks to build for the future.

Completely agree.

Cost benefit-wise you've used up nearly all of FIelds cheap contract years and facing having to pick up his option this offseason. He can't stay healthy and is still a question mark as a franchise guy. IMO your better off trading Fields and drafting Caleb and spending that other top 10 first on some o'line help. MHJr is certainly tantalizing, but they need to fix that o'line in a big way or no QB will ever be successful. There are enough QB starved teams out there someone will give you a quality pick for Fields which you can use on another WR or defensive help, plus they've still got their early 2nd for '24 and likely another early 2nd from Carolina in '25 to keep building with. But just one man's opinion sitting on his couch at home.

It took me a while to place it and maybe others have posted similar but Dobbs reminds me of the character in the movie Powder for anyone that remembers it.

Trading both would be interesting. I would think they could already get a pretty significant haul by just trading 1.

They should but the Bears are such idiots when it comes to the draft that it doesn’t matter. They have passed up drafting Mahomes, and if they didn’t learn their lesson just 8 months ago passed on Stroud!

The Bears should just fold up the franchise and quit.
