did moss just give anybody a win with those catches at the end? :lmao: :lmao:
No one cares, but my buddy went up by 1 with the Brown FG vs Moss. The two last catches (one clearly NOT a catch) put the other team back up. Just had to listen to the gripe about it.

enough of the BS. Take it to PM or chat if you want to continue the discussion amongst yourselves
My apologies. I thought the members here were educated.Apparently I was wrong. In any case, if you feel the need to ban me, I understand.I have ZERO fantasy implications with this game, I just can't stand people arguing about things they obviously don't know much about. Now, that being said...if I'm wrong, and he did NOT make a legal NFL 'football move', someone point me to a link, and I'll apologize profusely, as I should.

Wow! Shell looks like a broken down old man in the postgame interview. I'm not saying it's all his fault but they have to get somebody else in there. I feel sorry for the guy. They need a lot more than another coach.

DJ Hackett sighting= :D Shick!
Wallace is turning Hackett into a viable fantasy receiver recently.
Any casual objective observer has to admit that the kid has skills and makes plays. I hope he gets a chance somewhere, even it's not in Seattle.

Shine on that. I want him in Seattle! We have great receivers, I mena how bad can it be when Burleson is your WR5?! But what they ALL lack except Hackett is height. Stevens isn't getting it done and other than that we have no big guys to throw to. With Engram aging and Jackson teetering on the slippery slope of big play stud vs bad play primmadonna, it's nice to have someone of that caliber waiting should one of those guys part ways with the team.Hey Jackson, 7 yard first downs are just as important as 50 yard TDs. Please catch the damn ball.He also dropped the most fish.

Another MNF tidbit.

Aside from the Raiders posting back to back goose eggs on MNF, the Hawks now have 2 straight shutouts on Monday night! Last year they shellacked the Eagles 42-0. Next Monday night shut out - Green Bay

I'm reluctant to judge Stevens so harshly. He took way too much crap from the Super Bowl last year. Folks easily forget the postive plays he made in that game. He caught a touchdown. He made a huge tough catch at the goal line that was called back by the infamous holding call. He pancaked Joey Porter the only time they were face to face at the line of scrimmage on a running play. The reality is he's been back in the fold for less than two weeks. I expect him to improve as the season moves on. He brings a lot to the mix that Mili can't. Further, when he took the knee to the groin tonight he simply backed away and let the ref throw the flag. Amazingly, Robbie Tobeck is the one who ####ed up and killed their first and goal with an unsportsmanlike penalty.

True, but he's had several key drops and a stupid penalty in the first half after which the offense ceased to be effective unitl the last drive. Don't get me wrong, I really like the guy and have been pulling for him. But every time he goes forward (like last season) he steps back like the drops in the SB. I've drafted him many times and want him to be a Gates, Gonzo type of TE. But drops and personal fouls are backwards steps. I did not like the way he played tonight.

:goodposting:
I expect improvement too, but as a reliable RZ target he is failing, carrying over from last year. I'm reluctant to give him the benefit of the doubt so easily

Well, then don't. I'm willing to give the guy a few weeks to get in the swing.
Time will tell. I'm not sure where I stand on projections for the guy. I could see it going either way. It was apparent to me that he's going to get the opportunity. He had two end zone targets tonight following a TD the previous week. Will he cash in on this? I'm not sure.

Well it wasn't pretty and beating the Raiders at home is no real accomplishment even for Rutgers, but at this point the Seahawks have to take whatever they get. Just thinking about the amount of offensive production they have lost with Alexander and Hasselbeck down is really mindboggling. What if New England lost Brady or KC lost both Green and LJ? Rivers and LT2? They need to beat the Rams this coming week but if Alexander is still out I see that as a stretch but under the circumstances the team and the fans have to be happy at the moment.

If they do win they would have a two game lead and the schedule is not exactly brutal except for a trip to Denver from here on. If the team can get clicking on defense the offense will likely settle back in and probably be peaking right when they enter the playoffs. Yeah I'm a Seahawks fan and maybe I have my :homer: glasses on or I'm overly optimistic, but I'll take it. This team has faced a lot of trials since the Super Bowl and I'm pretty happy with where it stands at the moment in first place, and still a legitimate team that I dare anyone to look past in January. :2cents:

The rest of the league should be lurking around the Raiders camp as soon as the season is over, like a pack of wolves waiting to rip apart a fresh kill. This team is falling apart at the seams and every team in the league should be taking their shots to gut this team of the remaining talent left on this team.

I had to stop and quote this, and bold the odd part. Everyone who ever thought we'd see the day when a bad NFL team was sarcastically written off as an easy game for Rutgers, raise your hand.As a long-suffering Temple alum, I hope we get there someday.
