***MNF - Niners at Vikings*** (+7, 43) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

Niners offense tries to bounce back from ugly effort in Cleveland.
Vikes just trying to bounce back from ugly season so far.
Niners dealing with injuries to big names.
I don't think Vikes defense is on par with The Browns in spite of their effort yesterday.
I think The Niners will be prepared. If CMC plays they win easily,if not a bit closer so I'll split the difference...

Forty Niners- 30
Vikings- 20

It is difficult to travel across country two straight weeks, but maybe it being the Monday Night game will help deflect that a bit. The Vikings are somewhat the same team that they were a year ago. They continue to play close games, but last year they won almost all of the close ones and this year, they don't win hardly any close games.

Folks are saying that Cousins is playing not only for the Vikings, but also as an audition for a new team in 2024. Before Purdy took over the 49er QB position, some had thought that SF might be a possibility for Cousins. He also has a reputation for not playing well on the big stage and tonight will be a big one.

Purdy struggled a week ago, and if he continues his road struggles, this one will be closer than many think. Can't quite call for a Vikings upset, but I do think Cousins will play well and keep it close. Calling it SF 27, Vikings 24, with the big fantasy scorers being Cousins, Hockenson, Aiyuk and E. Mitchell.

I selfishly need Purdy to continue his road struggles to win my game tonight. Just needs to keep it reasonable. 250 and 2 and I'm OK. Can't throw for 300 and 3 or 4.

It is a tough place for road teams to play. It will be very loud tonight. I do expect the Niners to respond from last week, just like the Eagles did. Their defense will be ferocious and get after Cousins. The offense may not have to do much and will get short fields with stops and turnovers. San Fran 26-13

CMC is playing tonight, it was officially announced, no GTD

Game 6 NLCS starts around 5:00/5:30, appetizer leading up to NFL kick off
I don't usually pimp MLB but tonight we have a game that truly matters and then a Game 7 ALCS after that, will fill up commercial time during MNF
Again I know most don't care about MLB but a nice side dish for MNF tonight

In his three prime-time starts, Brock Purdy is 3-0 with eight touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 126.6 passer rating. Those games were @ Seattle (last season), at home vs the Giants and at home vs the Cowboys this season. His overall road record is 4-1.

Kittle has 14 TD catches in 17 prime-time games the past 5 seasons. He has 13 TD catches in 40 afternoon games.

Purdy In three games without Deebo (all last season)

Kittle: 14 catches, 236 yds, 5 TDs (21 targets)
Aiyuk: 16 catches, 201 yds, 1 TD (23 targets)

The next highest targets were McCaffrey (19) & Jennings (11)

Let's goooooo!!!

I was worried about this game with Trent Williams being out and I don't think they will ride CMC too hard. I changed my Survivor pick to Seattle from SF for this week. I see a lower scoring game. SF 17 Min 13.

Grill is fired up, beer is cold. I'm ready.
Gotta do an evening workout since I was lazy this morning
Looking forward to watching this one, think the Vikings will make it interesting for a while tonight.

-Maybe 24-20, not expecting the Niners to cover but they certainly are capable of it.
Interested to see what version of CMC is out there tonight, how Aiyuk does with Deebo OUT, lot to see.

Kirk in the spotlight in a must win game. Yeah, sounds awesome. He's so good that he makes good teams mediocre and bad teams mediocre.

SF 31 - Kirkings 17

inactives vs. Vikings

- QB Brandon Allen
- RB Tyrion Davis-Price
- DL Kalia Davis
- LB Jalen Graham
- WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder)
- T Trent Williams (ankle)
- TE Brayden Willis

Ty Davis-Price inactive here, which means only McCaffrey, Mason and Mitchell are active RBs -- good sign of CMC's health.

Purdy is such an efficient passer. He’s going to end up with a few rings before his career is over. He just has that feel about him.

CMC FUMBLES and does he need to sit on the bench for a little while tonight, injury likely impacting him?

-Sorry, just a joke, great job by the Vikes getting several on him
Wonder if we see Elijah or Mason ahead of schedule tonight
