Boy I am glad that I am not counting on Toomer for points tonight. Those two drops are the stuff that makes you want to put your foot in the TV.
first one wasn't a drop...Smith almost took his head off.

A rare and very welcome defensive stand by the Bucs D. The Giants should have a shot at the end zone and at least a FG out of that drive.

Good point. But I only accept total decapitation as an excuse for a droped ball in the end zone! ;)

Bucs GM McKay putting the only positive spin he can on the Keyshawn situation: we're still in it, we want to win, let's eliminate distractions, etc.

I need 31 yards rushing or 1 catch for more then 24 yards or 2 catches for -1,000,000 yards, or God forbid a 1 inch TD, without a fumble (or INT), out of pittman in the secoind half for me to have a chance at the playoffs next week. So far one stinking catch, and they don't figure to throw much in the second half.... I have allready came close to breaking my remote controll when the bucks were going to run a counter trade with Pittman at the 3 yard line before they were flaged, only to give way to Jones who plunged over the top... Come on you *%$^^& #(*$%#.

It's not looking to good for some people in my league. It's still early.I'm just sitting here drinking some home made brew (Continental Pilsner) watching and talking football.Toomer just dropped a TD.
Homebrewer, ehh?Pm me the details of your recipie, i've been considering brewing a pilsner...Has madden hyped his 8 legged tofurken yet?

Q. Who is singlehandedly assuring my success this week in a pivotal FF matchup?A. (in best Arnie voice) It is NOT A.Toomer
That's Gov. Arnie to you! That's FF...he could have 2 TDs by now, but it's not falling his way. That and the fact that he hasn't been playing well all year.

Kinda funny Al talking about the Bucs shifting the pace, etc to keep the opponents D off balance - and then they have to burn a timeout because of confusion.

Just checked the full Play by Play from NFL.COM for the Bus pass distribution amongst their WR's.McKardell = 10 targetsJurevicius = 5 targetsLee = 3 targetsBarlow = 1 targetThis is up to date as of 3:45 left in the 3rd quarter.

If a QB throws the ball away in the end zone and it happens that a receiver was in the area does he get credit for a target?

Reason I ask is cause I saw NFL.com list Keenan as the intended receiver on a play in the end zone, when it was clear that BJ was just throwing it away.

I see that happen a lot. There's no substitute for actually watching the game. Usually you'll see it listed as an incomplete pass with no WR listed - it may be a judgment call. Usually not so many of these that it affects a WR's target trend.

When thrown away, they are listed as "incomplete." Ex.:Collins' intentional grounding call-1-10-NYG30 (3:37) K.Collins pass incomplete. PENALTY on NYG-K.Collins, Intentional Grounding, 12 yards, enforced at NYG 30 Maybe he made an effort to get the ball to McCardell?

 On illegal hits.

Gruden's play calling will lose yet another game. Too many running plays resulting in second and third and long make it too difficult to sustain drives. He just needs to accept the fact that the Bucs need to pass to win, not just get a lead. The Bucs pass their way to a lead and then he gets conservative and kills their momentum, tonight is a prime example, listen to those boos in that stadium.

Followed by a stupid penalty by Jones.
seriously, i've seen many dumb things from the Bucs this year, but that was THE DUMBEST ####### THING I'VE SEEN OUT OF THEM ALL YEAR. :hot:You're 4 and ####### 6, up only four, on the ropes and you throw the ball at the guy out of bounds. You want to see a guy who should be "deactivated" it's #22 on the Bucs. Completely stupid. #### I'm pissed. :hot:

Nah, the chances of them converting are slim to none with a long pass on 3rd and 29. Might as well see if you can spring a good run out of it. It's the conservative choice. Decent one actually.

I just want to reiterate how ####### mad I am. That may have been the dumbest thing I've ever seen on a football field. :hot:  :hot: :hot:

Omega League - I'm now down exactly 0.03 in my matchup... I've got the Giants defense going right now. I was ready to call it a night and give up until the INT for a TD...AAAAAARGH!!! What I wouldn't give for a couple more TB turnovers or another INT returned for a TD!!!!
