man i love making up nicknames so this minestrone of pain thread has finally taken a turn for the better bam just like that nicknames save the day take that to the bank brohntosarusus from the brorassic period

 
I just wanted to update the teacher position. Fortunately as expected they called me back. Daily salary significantly more than first anticipated, never a bad thing. I want to thank the FFA for many reasons so please allow me to speak.

-I appreciate everyone who put me in my place the last several years, whether you realize it or not you made a huge difference and I know that burns the eff out of some of you but I use it as motivation and even when I am spitting nails I actually am thankful as it makes me a better person long term.

-The teaching thing is no schtick, I would be happy to tell you if it were schtick but I will be teaching starting next Tuesday, have to go in and fill out some paperwork tomorrow and they asked if I could hang out a couple hours, lot of teachers wanting to meet me and welcome me onto the team.

-No way am I gonna have time to post as much which will probably delight a few out there but I would prefer to thank everyone for the last 4-5 years that has posted even the smallest of support. I can't thank you enough and I'm lucky to have a place I can be myself for the most part.

I encourage any of you that have been thinking about a life change…DO IT!!! You are here for a flick, you might as well enjoy and try to make the most of it. I have been very selfish for a very long time and I have a lot of sins to make up for but that's OK. I wish nothing but the best for every one of you even those I was a jerk to at times. I appreciate all the support for so long, I deserved none of it but always have found it in plentiful supply.

I mean it, thank you so much and I know the task at hand will not be easy but a positive attitude will hopefully help me overcome many obstacles. I will still rant where needed and I will also update the teaching position as I can.

What I want to know is, why the hell hasn't the school board called and offered you the Superintendent job yet? Screw this school system, you are wanted by many.

My wife and her sister are making outmeal cookies... They made them from scratch and it sounds like something has gone wrong based on the voices being raised in the kitchen...

& why make oatmeal cookies when you can make choc chip cookies?

 
brohan i will tell you what to do because i am trying to look out for everyone around here the best thing to make it like this you take those crunchy things they put on chinese food mixed up with some raisens and maybe peanuts if you are not alergic to them and you put them in little piles on some tinfoil on a pan and then you heat up some chocolate in a pot until it gets all melted and then you pour that baby right on top of the little piles of chinese crunchos and raisens and peanuts and then you let that stuff cool down and bam right there you have a snack and when people come over you hand them a bottle of high life and one of those suckers and pow they are like hey this brohan right here this guy is living it right take that to the sweet tooth bank brohans

You could not pay me to camp overnight. I have done it 2-3 x with the Mrs and it was a disaster every time. She asks and I just start rattling off dates. One was that surfboard story in Baja, the other is us freezing our nuts off on the side of a mountain in June in New Mexico. 100 degrees on the ground, we go up about 8,000-10,000 feet in and around Sante Fe, packed nothing but shorts and t-shirts, temperature dropped to 28 degrees. That tent was freezing as was the ground, had to sleep in the car with the heat on and didn't sleep, just sat there shaking all night.

10,000 feet up, side of the mountain, you ask a good question. We did thaw out at an Asian oasis the next morning at the bottom. We checked in there for the day as our friends who didn't tell us to pack much went on their water rafting adventure.

But this thread has pure gold from SWC and Studs. Accordingly, I'd petition to have the title changed to reflect SWC's presence. Too many people are missing out because they just want to ignore your crap.

You need to do this wedding for many reasons, but mostly because as a teacher you are entering into a non-MOP-centric world where someone (actually a buncha students) else's needs have to take priority over yours much of the time.

This little soiree is good practice. If you actually dive in and become a part of it you might even get extra credit...

 
If you really want out of this wedding, I think you've gotta come up with something awesome to do with your wife instead. Like some full-day event that she'd love, and you wouldn't mind nearly as much as hanging out with those hippies.

She's probably not looking forward to this either. You've gotta exploit that, get her on your side, and then avoid this wedding.

 
one awesome thing that the good minterone and his wife who must be close to being beatified could do is find a 75 cuda and bleed the brakes on that baby you have her sit in the seat and pump the pedal and you are the guy opening and closing the line until all of the air is out do not forget to cover up the master cylinder when you are done but here is how you make it romantic for her what you do is you run have the car hot and you have chicago greatest hits in the old eight tracker but you have the battery disconnected in the compartment and then while she is sitting in there you hook up the terminal and bam you romance the hell out of her with twenty four or six to five bam another valentines day problem solved by the old swcer take that to the bank fellow bropar motorheads
