Moving to Florida (updated) (1 Viewer)

DC is a fantastic city but its literally impossible to drive anywhere.  The Metro is where its at.   I always kindof regret not taking a job offer up there right when I graduated.   The times I went up and visited my friend who did move there I found that the women in DC are pretty wild and down for anything
What did DC stand for?

You should travel about 20 min north to Grand Haven too... another great little town!
we did. we went to the beach there. spent the entire day just lounging  caught dinner in the main drag area. we'll definitely check more in to the town next time. South Haven and Saugutuck looked nice, too.

Saugatuck is a great small town on the water in SW Michigan. During the warmer months so many restaurants & bars on the water, live music and most within walking distance, also a great beach. Another little know/used source- $1 shuttle bus that will take you anywhere within the Saugatuck/Douglas area, including Oval Beach, Saugatuck Brewery, Red Dock, etc... = between walking in the main city area and shuttle bus, no worries about drinking and driving. My wife and I go there at least 3 times a year for weekend getaways.

Also while in the Tampa area check out Anna Maria Island. More great oceanfront restaurants/bars than any area I have ever been to. They also have a free shuttle bus that runs the entire island.

we popped in to Saugutuck on our way back home and regretted not making it a stop during our trip. only had lunch and walked around for about an hour before we had to make the 6 hour drive home.

all the things we missed are what's making us want to come back
