when I was a kid, that was the kinda stuff my sister used to listen to, so it got played a lot. even now, I'll still fire up a Dokken song every once in a while.
I second these. I listen to Lithium on SiriusXM radio, and will absolutely change the station if either of these come on.
amen. I still listen to some rock, but you can only take so much Grand Funk Railroad in one lifetime.
Same. He not busy being born is busy dying- it's important to always be curious and discovering new things for me and that includes music. Often it isn't new music I am discovering but genres or artists that I overlooked in the past.
I keep telling people around me that thanks to delving deeply into the genres that I liked at the time, I get to work backwards and discover and re-discover stone classics.
