My time here has come to an end (4 Viewers)

It's like Reddit is the local library. FFA is the local pub. There are more behavioral rules at the library than there are at the pub.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Reddit described as the local library.

If you think about a local library where there is a wealth of information on countless topics, but also a pervert watching porn on a computer with the volume up, it makes more sense.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to the library. Do the ladies shamelessly promote their OF there these days?
Here in SoCal the "Library" is a well known strip club.

When a woman says she works at the library, she's often a stripper, so yes, this checks out.
You can go from the "reading books" at the Library to looking at "planets' at Venus.... or so I've been told
Aloha?

Was Best Hooters pinned? Lol

Talk about a 180. What happened?

I realized we didn't want to continue down that path.
It's not often you get to make the same post in back to back threads, but this seems appropriate here.

Choices are amazing, aren’t they?

One minute you’re making all the right ones and everyone loves you.

Then you make a bad one.

Then a good one.

A regrettable choice.

Then another questionable choice.

I think people liked the forums with "it's got everything I like here".
Joe took away that convenience. I think people are mad about that
without even realizing it. You can find bewbs, butts, and legs anywhere
on the net. Take away our easy button and your getting a fight.

 What is funny about that @Dennis Castro ?
Oh, I didn’t mean anything by it. The dry tone just made me chuckle. It’s as if someone said, “The restaurant seemed to be dealing with a pretty intense hostage situation, so we decided it might be better to go someplace else for lunch.” The decision is totally understandable.

I’ll just see myself out.

I'd hope everyone here has done a 180 on multiple things the last 20 years.

That's an interesting point. There's a fair bit of resistance to changing one's opinion on things I've found. In my experience, men seem to struggle with this especially.

You have to be thoughtful on it. If one goes back and forth from extremes every other week, that's one thing. But picking a new direction when you have a change of heart or see new information (or both) is different I think.

It's never fun to be admit one was wrong. But it's better to go the right way.

I hear someone say a while back something I think is true: "I'm more interested in getting it right. Than in being right to start with".

That explains a lot of the movie and music tastes around these parts. ;)

This. Look, I loved all the shennaigans that this board had all the way through, and yes, it is diminished in my eyes, but not really because of the decisions of the powers that be, but more becuase some of us went the other way in terms of being respectful to others on this board. Fishing expeditions were fun and fine, but it started to get nasty right around the re-election of George W Bush. Its only gotten more contentious from there.

As for Carlton's "not best" moments, I'll keep my opinion to myslef there.

Thank you GB. :hifive:
