Aloha? You can go from the "reading books" at the Library to looking at "planets' at Venus....Here in SoCal the "Library" is a well known strip club. It’s been a while since I’ve been to the library. Do the ladies shamelessly promote their OF there these days?I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Reddit described as the local library. It's like Reddit is the local library. FFA is the local pub. There are more behavioral rules at the library than there are at the pub.
If you think about a local library where there is a wealth of information on countless topics, but also a pervert watching porn on a computer with the volume up, it makes more sense.
When a woman says she works at the library, she's often a stripper, so yes, this checks out.or so I've been told
I'm still upset over Jeter being out at least a month.
Those user names are quite a trip
I was wondering if UNC will get that next coaching hire right.I'm still upset over Jeter being out at least a month.

Talk about a 180. What happened?
It's not often you get to make the same post in back to back threads, but this seems appropriate here. Was Best Hooters pinned? Lol

I realized we didn't want to continue down that path.
I think people liked the forums with "it's got everything I like here".Was Best Hooters pinned? Lol

Carlton! Good to see you, gb.
Yeah, not my finest moment there.
I'm glad I stopped doing that, though.

Oh, I didn’t mean anything by it. The dry tone just made me chuckle. It’s as if someone said, “The restaurant seemed to be dealing with a pretty intense hostage situation, so we decided it might be better to go someplace else for lunch.” The decision is totally understandable.
"This isn't an airport, no need to announce your departure"These threads reek of desperation. Just go, you don't need to broadcast it.
I'd hope everyone here has done a 180 on multiple things the last 20 years. Was Best Hooters pinned? Lol

That explains a lot of the movie and music tastes around these parts.I'd hope everyone here has done a 180 on multiple things the last 20 years.
That's an interesting point. There's a fair bit of resistance to changing one's opinion on things I've found. In my experience, men seem to struggle with this especially.
You have to be thoughtful on it. If one goes back and forth from extremes every other week, that's one thing. But picking a new direction when you have a change of heart or see new information (or both) is different I think.
It's never fun to be admit one was wrong. But it's better to go the right way.
I hear someone say a while back something I think is true: "I'm more interested in getting it right. Than in being right to start with".
An addendum to this is "I would rather be first than be correct"I hear someone say a while back something I think is true: "I'm more interested in getting it right. Than in being right to start with".

There are certain people on this board, and in real life, who are the opposite way, and they are exhausting to be around.I hear someone say a while back something I think is true: "I'm more interested in getting it right. Than in being right to start with".

Always glad to recognize a fellow three-digiter. represent! My member numbers after the migration was something like 493 (back when they used to have member numbers).
Oh boy. Here we go.

This. Look, I loved all the shennaigans that this board had all the way through, and yes, it is diminished in my eyes, but not really because of the decisions of the powers that be, but more becuase some of us went the other way in terms of being respectful to others on this board. Fishing expeditions were fun and fine, but it started to get nasty right around the re-election of George W Bush. Its only gotten more contentious from there.I'd hope everyone here has done a 180 on multiple things the last 20 years.

As for Carlton's "not best" moments, I'll keep my opinion to myslef there.
As much as he's tried, he can't quit the Bears.
Flapgreen wait!If I am not allowed to openly discuss things I support and individuals I have interest in in a world that constantly shuts down the discussion of things deemed inappropriate by the powers that be, then footballguys serves no use to me. So long
I miss the babe bracket. My username is actually an alias and I don't remember my original account name anymore. I created several aliases like Perrin and Lan from the Wheel of Time so I could add a couple extra votes for my favorite babes. Good times.Wow, a Babe Bracket thread created by an FBG staffer. Different times indeed
