NBA BTTF IV - LEAGUE ID: 53356 (2 Viewers)

Let me change this so maybe we can show a better example.

Team A: 1. LeBron 80, 2. Durant 80, 3. Davis 80

Team B: 1. LeBron 85, 2. Davis 75, 3. Durant 70

Team C: 1. Davis 74, 2. LeBron 85, 3. Durant 79

Going in order, commish calculates for Davis 1st:

Team A has highest bid at 80, but would prefer Lebron or Durant. Second highest bid is Team B at 75 (but they prefer Lebron at 85). Third is team C at 74.

Commish looks at LeBron 2nd:

Team B has him at 85, as does Team C, but C prefers Davis at 74. So, in order to determine Davis, first we need a roll off for LeBron. The loser on this roll actually gets Davis due to Team A's Durant priority (they would then not have enough cash for Davis as well).

Commish looks at Durant 3rd:

Team A has Durant at 80 for its second highest priority and Lebron has gone to B or C depending on roll-off. So they get Durant. They were also highest for Davis, but they preferred Durant.

This is as weird and cluster####ery as I can make it I think. Eephus, agree that is how we'd do it?
:goodposting:
now imagine 21 other teams all with varying bids......good luck trying to decipher that mess. :loco:

Leave that to the experts.

:/

I agree with jmon about the viewing of the bids. For comedies sake that is.
I imagine we'll have to based on the sheer level of confusion that's been demonstrated."WHY DIDN'T I WIN WALLY SZCERZBIAK? I BID THE MOST ON HIM!111"
Bids will be tallied in a Googlesheet. All bids including failed ones will be logged for posterity.
You mean logged to be laughed at.

This is going to be wonderful.

Jesus this is stupid.

***ANNOUNCE***

BIDS BEING ACCEPTED UNTIL 11:59 PM ET THIS SUNDAY

Remember you can prioritize 3 players or just bid in the order on the first 6. Email should be sent to WISRUTHROLL@GMAIL.COM. Password has been changed so that only Eephus and I can access. We won't open any emails until each of us has sent our own email in.

Players up for auction are as follows:

Anthony Davis

Stephen Curry

James Harden

LeBron James

Russell Westbrook

Kevin Durant

It may be easiest for all if you just copy the list and re-order from there.

I'm going to no bid on the day one players to I can monitor the mailbox and give feedback to people who screw up.

Be sure to include your FBG name in your bid email. Tre is an ordained spiritual advisor but I have no supernatural powers except for wrecking dreams

Did Tobias screw up already?
I'm out of the office tomorrow and figured I might forget Friday and over the weekend so I figured I'd send them now. I'm pretty sure there won't be any exciting news between now and Sunday that will make me totally change my opinions about the Steph Currys and James Hardens of the world.

Bid on all players in a single email. Please don't send twelve separate emails.

You can prioritize up to three bids per day. This only affects the order in which your bids are processed. It won't trump a higher bid by somebody else. If you don't prioritize your bids, they'll be handled in Yahoo's order.

Don't wait until 11:59PM EDT to bid. This isn't eBay.

don't know but a*****nn@gmail.com sure did
:pickle:

I got three kids distracting me all day every day from tomorrow until Sunday night except maybe Friday.

Plus I figure I can just re-send if I change my mind on any of the six guys, right? I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Ugh, let's try and avoid the resends. You did fine, he just couldn't attach the name to the fbg.
Agree. You can certainly resubmit your bid if James Harden sprains his beard between now and Sunday night but going through 24 emails is going to be time consuming enough.

If you have to rebid, be sure to include all players and clearly designate that it's a rebid.

Anthony Davis - 93
Stephen Curry - 48
James Harden - 2
LeBron James - 77
Russell Westbrook - 18
Kevin Durant - 33

It may be easiest for all if you just copy the list and re-order from there.
