Withdrawn.Double nickel. Your move, B Knight. LulzCaptain Quinoa said:Update?Yeah, the race for fourth-best PG in the East isn't really that close.4.0 was for October (2 games). He's at 2.3 for the year. Also 2.3 A/TO vs Rose's 1.47Irvings TO high for the year is 8. He did that 2 times.Rose is at 3.3 TO per gamne for the year, 3.4 for January. 2.5 throwing out the 11 game.Bulls were lucky to come out with a win, Rose was inefficient going 13-33 from the field with 1 assist, 11 turnovers? That is Kyrie Irving type numbers. Good thing the Bulls really worked the Warriors down low. Meanwhile the Bulls big men, Gasol with 8 assists and Noah with 6. I'd like to see Rose attack the rim more and dish to his teammates.
Irving is at 4.0 TO per game for the year, 2.7 for January. 2.1 throwing out that game.
Month over month Irving is trending down in TO's per game and Rose is going up.
Also shooting .466 overall and .397 on 3s. Rose is .416/.313.
ETA: Sorry, fifth-best PG in the East. Apologies to Brandon Knight.
How did he end up with 9 turnovers?Cousins gets a bull#### 4th foul call midway through the 3rd in a tie game. Raptors immediately go up by 20.

I've stayed on the fence with this issue. Is there much statistical evidence that a younger, fit player like a Luol Deng or a Jimmy Butler plays better at 35 minutes per game than 40 minutes? In baseball these things are much easier to measure statistically. So Thibs is fighting back about the heavy minutes he gives his starters.
It always amazes me that someone can be so bright about some aspects of the game and so clearly wrong/stubborn about others. Pointing to Phil Jackson's success when giving starter's heavy minutes ignores the obvious fact that sports strategy evolves over time. It would be like a baseball manager barely using the bullpen and saying "if it was good enough for Casey Stengel it's good enough for me!" And using Pau Gasol as his example of a Jackson success story is a particularly weird choice considering what happened to Gasol in LA after Jackson left.
Blow it up? They just need a new coach and a bit stronger bench.Thunder fan here... ready to blow it up. Need a new coach next year and to get rid of Jackson for whatever they can get. Maybe even make a bigger move by dangling Ibaka too. Scotty has lost the team and too many players playing like crap.
He is under contract so he would have to be fired or resign. If the Bulls are relatively healthy down the stretch but continue to underperform, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if they part ways. It's no secret that Thibs and GM Gar Forman don't have the healthiest of relationships.is there really a chance that tibs leaves the bulls in the offseason that would just sort of be crazy he has such a good win percentage despite tons of injuries i predict if tehy do that they will be cursed like the cubs and have a hondo years of bad luck take that to teh bank brohans
That's a good point, we don't have mountains of data that we can easily analyze they way we can with something like bullpen vs starter ERA in baseball. But the league is moving that direction pretty much across the board except in Chicago, which should at least be enough to make you wonder.I've stayed on the fence with this issue. I'm sure some of the more statistically advanced teams have done studies, etc. I do know there's a whole lot of sports science research on intervals and how to optimally train. The research shows that the longer you keep going after failing on the interval, your performance drops quickly on that interval and all efforts after that interval are also hampered until you are fully rested. That's a good point, we don't have mountains of data that we can easily analyze they way we can with something like bullpen vs starter ERA in baseball. Also, my criticism of Thibs here isn't necessarily his conclusion, but his reasoning. It's meaningless that Jackson succeeded while playing his key guys 40 mpg in the regular season, because he did so in an environment where everyone played their stars 40 mpg in the regular season. There was no competitive advantage to be gained or lost.
Maybe blow it up was too strong a phrase. But I think everyone on the team except KD and Westbrook should be available for the right pieces. Scotty has lost the team and the way Ibaka is playing won't cut it. He looks like himself about 30% of the time and the rest of the time he's absent. Guys need a wake up call, making a trade involving Ibaka should put the fear of God into a few of them.Blow it up? I'm firmly into tanking now. Maybe KD will sit the rest of the season.
Durant for Nene, Otto Porter and the 2015 and 2017 picks. Everyone wins. That is awesome... for the Pacers. How's about this trade w/ the Pacers.West, Hill, Scola for Ibaka, Perkins, and Jackson. I'd rather pay $12M/Yr for Ibaka's age 26 and 27 years than I would any of West's years. An elite defender at the 4 who can finish at the hoop and hit jumpers is a rare specimen. That is awesome... for the Pacers. How's about this trade w/ the Pacers.West, Hill, Scola for Ibaka, Perkins, and Jackson. Unless OKC has just soured that much on Ibaka, I can't see them doing this.
Perkins is finally a FA after the season so he's off the books. Jackson is a FA, but then you're taking on $8 mil/yr 2 seasons after this with Hill (which he's not close to being worth). I'd rather pay $12 mil/yr for 26 & 27 age seasons of Ibaka than pay West $12 mil for his age 35 season![]()

Should've just moved to Seattle.No. The unexplained firing of Malone took all the mojo out of them. They were playing like a playoff team for the first month and since then they have looked like every other Kings team from the past 8 years. Fans are protesting by not showing up - it has quickly deteriorated into a bad scene.Do you Kings have much of a chance of turning things around? I wanted the Bulls to get their pick (top 10 protected) but recently it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

Big day for Boogie:BOOGIE!!!Nobody needs a reminder that Boogie is the greatest and that Clay Travis is a huge dooshbag. But this is still pretty great.

Unreal that he didn't make it initially. But it's also insane that Lillard isn't on the team. The Western Conference is rough.Big day for Boogie:BOOGIE!!!Nobody needs a reminder that Boogie is the greatest and that Clay Travis is a huge dooshbag. But this is still pretty great.

Hard to really complain about any of it. I personally would have left Durant off there, but that's more about what you think the criteria should be.Unreal that he didn't make it initially. I'd put him in the same boat as Durant. Clearly an all-star if look at his numbers in the games he played, so it depends how much you want to dock him for games missed.Am I the only one that thinks D. Wade isn't an All-Star this year?
Nope. Should be replaced by Korver.Am I the only one that thinks D. Wade isn't an All-Star this year?

I'm sure Cappy will love this but I'm not sure about doing it midseason when clearly Orlando is trying to build some chemistry and confidence.Bottom line, Vaughn wasn't the guy to win championships so it had to be done. Who are they going to hire? Patrick Ewing lol.JACQUE VAUGHN WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111111111111

I was saying the same thing after the GS game: too many threes, too many wild drives and flings at the hoop. And he never gets to the line anymore. Not optimistic the Bulls can win a title with him.Cliff please change the title to "Rose Goes Kobe on Lakers".
Stellar 7 for 26 effort for 17 points.
But at least he was 1-7 from 3.
