Better to avoid the hit he would have taken to stay inbounds IMO. Why would we expect the Saints to drive for a score here when they haven't been effective on offense?Wilson should have stayed in bounds.
True indeedThat was a case where Wilson's tendency to extend the play rather than scramble kept him from making a much bigger play. He rolled out sideways looking to throw and by the time he decided to run, the defender was there to hold him to 2 yards. Had he decided to run right away, he would have definitely made it inside the 5 and might have been able to score.
Whatever you say champ.Huh? They're playing football what did you expect? To not hit him?Pretty ridiculous, expect nothing less from NO though.TenTimes said:Geez harvin getting roughed up
It's easily possible to both stay in bounds AND not get hit.Better to avoid the hit he would have taken to stay inbounds IMO. Why would we expect the Saints to drive for a score here when they haven't been effective on offense?Wilson should have stayed in bounds.
Yeah, I think it's out of the south-southeast at 12-14 knots now.Not watching HD ... Is the wind changing since kickoff? Speed or direction?
FGs haven't seemed problematic so far. Saw the bad punts, though.

Certainly not from a betting standpointAm I crazy to think this game isn't over yet?
Not so easy when he waited so long and the defender was on him. It's easily possible to both stay in bounds AND not get hit.Better to avoid the hit he would have taken to stay inbounds IMO. He's probably the fastest guy out there so best suited to get back into position.Do they really want earl thomas holding that ball on kickoff?
They don't. The WRs, even Colston, can't get open on anyone. They're always blanketed when making catches. It just seems like the Saints don't have any wr'ers on the team that can beat any Seattle DB one on one. Then they only play Graham on about half the plays and he is by far their best offensive threat.

Chrystal ball showing cloudy with a chance of meatballs...Survey says............X3 throws and out is my prediction

Was expecting this last week, and Brees proved me wrong. I don't think this game is over.Drew Brees is horrible in bad weather because he can't drive the ball through wind. Has never played that well in wind due to a wobbly ball and his arm strength is just not there anymore. This game is over. Drew is a no show with what 30 yards passing. They can't win with him at QB unless he is in a dome. Sorry Saints fans but they haven't a chance to win with no running game and the ball flying out of Brees hand like a wounded duck. Sad, just sad. I was hoping for a good game.

I have to think that was intentional or one hell of a funny Freudian slip.giraffe?Alright, the Harvin giraffe was because I'm on mobile.
Also, screw you people!@$&
No precipitation last week. Just mad cold with a moderate breeze. Completely different ballgame. Was expecting this last week, and Brees proved me wrong. No thanks. We're 5 deep at RB and about 1 deep at WR. I'd go with the latter in the draft.Saints need to part ways with Sproles and draft Seastrunk.
Tyree "Giraffe" Robinson looks pretty good, they're all set.Saints need to part ways with Sproles and draft Seastrunk.
Drew is killing the Saints D slowly. This D was playing well early but when the Hawks adjusted to stop the run and forced the ball into Drew's hands, then the offense just shut down. The second half is going to be the Beastmode show as they bleed the Saints d out. Drew has to make some plays but he can't even get the ball out to receivers 5 yards down field. In a game like this Drew is going to have to drive the ball into tight spaces and that isn't going to happen. You will see at least two picks in the second half as desperation sets in and Lynch goes for another 100 yards as the Saints D just poops out staying on the field so long. The extra long halftime will help a bit but come the 4th it will be all hawks.Thinking you're right. Their offense is much more effective with a shifty-back Brees can throw to out of the backfield and Sproles just doesn't have "it" anymore. They used to be able to sustain drives in 3WR with the way Sproles was running.Tyree "Giraffe" Robinson looks pretty good, they're all set.Saints need to part ways with Sproles and draft Seastrunk.
Brees needs a shifty back to dump the ball out to. Sproles has lost a step and it's hurting the Offense. No thanks. We're 5 deep at RB and about 1 deep at WR. I'd go with the latter in the draft.Saints need to part ways with Sproles and draft Seastrunk.
Yep heavier ball this week and that is killing Drew. He just doesn't have the arm to drive the ball in wind and rain. They're done.No precipitation last week. Just mad cold with a moderate breeze. Completely different ballgame. Was expecting this last week, and Brees proved me wrong. No, having zero WRs that can beat man coverage has been killing the offense. He shouldn't have to dump it off so often.Brees needs a shifty back to dump the ball out to. Sproles has lost a step and it's hurting the Offense. No thanks. We're 5 deep at RB and about 1 deep at WR. Sure, dump a receiving RB for a guy who hasn't proven he can catch the ball.Saints need to part ways with Sproles and draft Seastrunk.
