New Orleans Saints @ Seattle Seahawks Playoff Thread (2 Viewers)

Not watching HD ... Is the wind changing since kickoff? Speed or direction?

FGs haven't seemed problematic so far. Saw the bad punts, though.

That was a case where Wilson's tendency to extend the play rather than scramble kept him from making a much bigger play. He rolled out sideways looking to throw and by the time he decided to run, the defender was there to hold him to 2 yards. Had he decided to run right away, he would have definitely made it inside the 5 and might have been able to score.
True indeed

It just seems like the Saints don't have any wr'ers on the team that can beat any Seattle DB one on one. Then they only play Graham on about half the plays and he is by far their best offensive threat.

They don't. The WRs, even Colston, can't get open on anyone. They're always blanketed when making catches.

Drew Brees is horrible in bad weather because he can't drive the ball through wind. Has never played that well in wind due to a wobbly ball and his arm strength is just not there anymore. This game is over. Drew is a no show with what 30 yards passing. They can't win with him at QB unless he is in a dome. Sorry Saints fans but they haven't a chance to win with no running game and the ball flying out of Brees hand like a wounded duck. Sad, just sad. I was hoping for a good game.

Was expecting this last week, and Brees proved me wrong. I don't think this game is over.

Thinking you're right. Who knows though, Seattle hasn't shown much when taking the ball from the 20.

It shouldn't be a 16 point lead - I don't think they've played that kind of game. But it is, which means the Saints will need some help from the Seahawks to get back in it.

No precipitation last week. Just mad cold with a moderate breeze. Completely different ballgame.

Drew is killing the Saints D slowly. This D was playing well early but when the Hawks adjusted to stop the run and forced the ball into Drew's hands, then the offense just shut down. The second half is going to be the Beastmode show as they bleed the Saints d out. Drew has to make some plays but he can't even get the ball out to receivers 5 yards down field. In a game like this Drew is going to have to drive the ball into tight spaces and that isn't going to happen. You will see at least two picks in the second half as desperation sets in and Lynch goes for another 100 yards as the Saints D just poops out staying on the field so long. The extra long halftime will help a bit but come the 4th it will be all hawks.

The only thing that saves the Saints is multiple turnovers or some big special teams plays for TD's. That's their only hope and they have to be in the redzone. Don't see it.

Yep heavier ball this week and that is killing Drew. He just doesn't have the arm to drive the ball in wind and rain. They're done.
