NFL.com = terrible (1 Viewer)

[*]Forced ads when entering the site

[*]video advertisements which play on half the screen before the GameCenter loads

[*]If my cursor drags over the menu items, it covers the actual links I am trying to click on (i.e the scores of the games)

[*]As a fantasy football player, we all want to see stats, and now it take another click within the game to get there

[*]The website is slow and scrolling is choppy with the video ads and busy screen

It is a habit to always check the scores on NFL.com, and I really need to break this habit and use another website for following the games.

If you want the NFL. Go to the Yahoo.

Nothing high tech there. Just quick loading and stats. nfl.com has gotten as bad as espn.com which I stay away from like the plaque.

NFL.com highlights used to be great, now they are slow and choppy even if you download the video software they have.

Signed up my kid for a draft over there. his first. The draft was over in 13 minutes. 12 teams 15 rounds I dont know if no one showed or what.

I don't think I've been to nfl.com once in the last year. I used to go all the time because it had, in my mind, the best weekly scoreboard/gamecenter on the 'net. Then they redid their gamecasts to some inscrutable garbage last offseason and I started going to CBS, instead (which uses gamecasts similar to the old NFL ones).

This. Although nfl.com is actually preferable to CBS on my smartphone.

The site has been horrible since the re-design last year. Honestly, what person is interested in that weird merge page they land you on now, where it like gives you a tease of a couple of the stats? Why is it an extra click to get to the page that people actually care about?

I still like the CBS GameCenter.
Me too. It's kind of simple in looks, but their simple is fast and easy to get around from game-to-game. I don't need to be blown away by the latest website flash or whatever. I just want stats. Firefox also blocks their ads. I like the look of NFL.com, but I don't like having to click the "analyze" tab every time I change games.

I have a new league starting and they chose NFL.com because it's free. I prefer CBS by far.

For NFL.com .. all of our rosters are in, but how in the world do you change the schedule? It would seem so basic.

The schedule right now is based on when teams accepted the invitation to the league. There's no harm in leaving it as is, but will it not let you change the schedule? I only see where you can change the playoff schedule. What a piece of crap, but it's free, so...

Yeah, but the map that shows where teams are traveling to is an awesome feature when you want to look at a schedule.

:)

I agree it's been downhill ever since the redesign last year.
