**NFL Saturday Doubleheader - Steelers 10-4 at Ravens 9-5**(-6.5, 44.5) 4:30 (1 Viewer)

That was a big stop for Baltimore. Even though they scored on their last drive, they needed to slow Pittsburgh down a little.

Since Week 3, Lamar has a 128.5 passer rating, only QB in NFL history ever to have a higher passer rating over any 12-game span is Peyton Manning’s 128.7 in 2004
In my eyes, its never been a real debate for MVP. Its been Lamar all year. His current passer rating is 4th highest in history, behind only 2011 Rodgers, 2020 Rodgers, and 2004 Manning, and none of those guys were adding another 800-1000 yards rushing.

Lamar is having a historically great season. Josh Allen is also great, but clearly not on the same level. Its kinda funny, I thought Allen was better than Lamar last year. and I think Lamar is better this year. Sometimes I think record plays WAY too big a role in voting. I mean, I get MVP not being on a team that was awful, but #1 seed vs #2 seed or #3 seed, should be no real difference when grading an individual player.

Zach Orr’s defense drives me ****ing crazy. 2nd and 20 just give up a layup 12 yard pass to the rb after the defense drops 20 yards deep. Makes it 3rd and manageable. Drive results in a td. 1:50 left and 1 TO for the Steelers? Play a prevent shell letting them check it down all the way down the field for a fg. Pickens is out. The OL can’t pass block. WHO IS GOING TO HURT YOU DEEP HERE?!? Drives me insane. The 5% chance they hit a big one simply isn’t worth allowing layup check down after layup check down.

I benched Tucker for the 1st time all year in multiple leagues obviously he now finally makes a 51 yarder Pitt was #1 vs kickers for what that matters.

Steelers need to maybe risk Lamar taking off more in the 2nd half, if it means doing a better job against Henry. If he stays at 5.8 per carry, zero chance they can come back.

ETA: Very impressed by Arthur Smith's gameplan so far. 10 points, and could easily have been more, despite missing their #1 WR, and the OL getting beat a lot.

What is it with the play-by-play guy and that hold?

I kicked in college. That was a routine hold. What the **** is that guy talking about?

You weren’t likely starting Steelers in the semi-finals, but Mycole Pruitt and Cordarrelle Patterson? My God, Art, you hate FF, don’t you?

Every year when football is gifted to us on Saturdays we get Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting” as bumper music.

Never fails.

I'm holding out for the Bay City Rollers

Rickey Henderson died? He wasn’t old (er, now I know I’m old for saying that).

65. Wow. I’m not that far away, really. Not a whole lot of us are.

RIP, Rickey. I hope you’re using the third person in heaven.
