Caps haven't won a playoff series since letting Trotz go after winning the Cup three years ago. 

Islanders had won like one playoff series in 25 years before Trott arrived, and now have five in the last three years and lead 2-0 on the road in Game 1 of the ECF.

Barry Trotz is the man. 

I'll never forget involved my last barry trotz experience.

There were two ladies involved and three bottles of Boone's Farm. The next morning was like a hockey scrum happened in the toilet.

I'm an islanders fan and excited for the win. And by nature I have to hate any Rangers or former Rangers, but I've got to give McDonaugh a huge standing O for that shot. That was some NHL Video game spin-o-ramma type stuff that almost worked out. I think Varlamov needs to just throw those undergarments away b/c IDK if you'll ever get the stain out of them after watching that go past him.

He's made some excellent saves and not had any puck handling mistakes leading to an empty net goal which is a bonus for Vegas.

Tampa is such a versatile team. I've seen them win multiple different ways this postseason. They can win it 2-1 in a tight, low scoring game. They can also run and gun and outscore you. 

Does Barzal get a suspension for that?
