Nipsey Sings Karaoke - Still The Same 06-04-20 (1 Viewer)

If the other Kinks songs aren't available, how about Waterloo Sunset?  Easier to find/sing?

Ok, I'll stop for now.

:lmao:   :lmao:   What was that noise?

Actually I absolutely loved it before that.  Well, after that, too.
It's like the footballguys alert to have been quoted or liked in desktop. My head was right between the speakers when it exploded in my ear.

If you're still alive, more Squeeze?  If I Didn't Love You? Or a redo of Black Coffee in Bed (which I've just learned tim thinks is about coffee)?

I promise not to tell my Glenn Tilbrook story.  Nah, I totally don't promise that.

ETA:  You'd also be great at "Goodbye Girl."
ohhh ...good one.

most definitely "If I didn't love you."

oooo, tell it girl, "gay for glenn"

Glenn stayed at my house a couple of nights.  He was touring and being filmed for this documentary that was put together by a friend of the then-current Mr. krista, who's also listed as an executive producer of the movie.  I say "listed" because I don't remember anything but lending money and moral support, which I suppose is an executive producer role.  (By the way, a link to him as producer leads to an entirely different person.)  I know at one point I was listed in the thanks for this movie, but I don't see myself in the credits anymore; not sure why and don't think it was because we split since we remained the best of friends.  Maybe I'm misremembering and had just been on the website thanks when they thought it might be a bigger deal than it was.  Despite the claims of the documentary, Glenn didn't just stay in an RV the whole time.   :)

Anyway, Amy the filmmaker was the person with whom I helped sell merch for Marty Willson Piper, bringing us full circle to my "he's a jerk" story.  MWP was a jerk not because he did anything to me, but because he was absolutely awful to her, a person who admired and wanted to help him.  On the other hand, Glenn was a truly warm and good guy.  I recommend him as a houseguest.

Apparently you can watch the documentary here.  I've never actually watched it!

Ok, no more hijacking and we can get back to Tiny Sharks or whatever TF is going on here.

Baby Sharks!!!!

It looks like the first one was unreleased. Was just sitting there in the computer. I may need to take a deep dive.
Ha - yes - do so - please.

Back when I did more of this kinda stuff (80s) - I remember thinking certain takes were better than others - then, later, when we reviewed the previous years work, I often changed my opinion of the takes. Weird.

Some of the "shelved" ones turned out to be the best - imo.

I reinstate any and all requests I've made that have not been fulfilled in the prior pages of this thread.  Thank you.
