Obscure 80s and 90s references (morphing into "Anything you can remember from the 80s and 90s") (1 Viewer)

:lmao:

I didn't see your post before posting mine (was spending time trying to find a better video of mine).  But honestly, I don't know if I would have realized what yours even referred to if I had seen it, since I only knew the WPIX version growing up in NJ.

Learn something new (even about something old) every day, I guess.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV_Powww
The best was watching the knuckle head kids slowly say "pow" like three times in their allotted 30secs... Always imagined I'd be powpowpowpowpowwpowpowimg nonstop until the time was up.

Had the same thing here.  90% of the kids that called in sucked.

I have a friend that I've known since we were kids. Every once in while one of us will say to the other, "You over-rotated."

And of course the reply is always the same.

"No, s##t."

I work with many people under 30. I reference a lot of films,tv, etc from the 80s and 90s.

They almost never get the references. It makes me feel old .

At least I look young so I’ve got that going for me.

BMX bikes with Mags.... want more obscure? Z Rims
I have my old Haro Master in storage, with Z-Rims on it (which replaced the original Tuff II's). At one point it had sharpie autographs of all the Haro guys on the frame (Ron Wilkerson, Dennis McCoy, Brian Blyther.....God I can't believe I just recalled those names from memory).
