*** OFFICIAL *** 13/14 Off-Season Dynasty Trade Thread (1 Viewer)

Just made another deal- 12 team contract, TE premium

Gave- Reed (FA, but can be franchised)/Ben Tate (2)

Got- Gio (3)

12 team PPR, start 1/2/3/1/plus 1 RB/WR/TE flex

Give: Torrey Smith, Rudolph, Marlon Brown, Kearse

Got: Vereen, Maclin, Tim Wright

needed another RB.

Nothing bigger than this one......I'm not involved but I'm speechless......Incredible.

Team A got: Gio Bernard, DeMarco Murray, Ty Hilton, Rob Gronkowski, 2.8 and 2015 2nd

Team B got: Jamaal Charles, Matt Forte, Vernon Davis and 2015 3rd
Gronk side for me too

Another thing on Patterson, I think there were some questions about how long it would tske him to catxh on, which likelyowered his draft stock. I think he came on faster than people thouhjt.
Would it be crazy to take Brandon Marshall and flip him for Patterson ? Seeing his growth just curious
I wouldn't deal Marshall for Patterson, no way.

This Patterson love has got to stop. lol I'm a huge fan, but good lord.
I can understand that in redraft leagues, but in dynasty leagues I'll take Patterson without any hesitation. Marshall will be 30 in a couple of weeks.
Marshall is a WR, not a RB. And he's an elite, borderline HOF level talent who seems pretty likely to age more gracefully than his peers, particularly those whose game is based more around speed. Yes, it's a dynasty league, but titles over the next few years count just as much as those five years out. And that's assuming that Patterson learns to do more than catch bubble screens and run reverses at some point in the future.
This isn't true. A championship is year N > championship in year N+5.
Personal preference really. If I had a choice of winning year 1 and losing every year thereafter vs losing years 1-4 and finally winning year 5, I'd rather take the latter.

At the end of that negotiation process, did it really come down to the 2015 upgrade from a 3rd to a 2nd?

I have no idea which side I like. Would take me an hour to figure it out.

12 Team PPR Dynasty QRRWWTKD + Flex + SuperFlex

Gave: Romo, gave back his 2015 1st (late)

Got: Patterson, 1.07, Latavius Murray, R. Jennings.

I definitely have djax ahead of austin. Obviously proven he can play, and is in a good situation. But I still don't have djax near the top of my WR rsnkings or anything.
was just curious, I think Austin is capable of Jackson like #s if he could get a good offense around him

He is capable, but he needs everything to go right. I don't see very high potential for him to put up consistent numbers over the years. I will say over the next 5 years he has one really good one and 4 so-so years. Maybe not even one really good year.

for

Dez
I like the Dez side but that seems like fair value

Biggest trade I have been a part of in quite some time!

Franklin/Lacy/Morris/Patton for me
I thought it was a lot of picks to give up but love that Lacy is an every down back with elite prospects, cuff too just incase, and Morris is still a solid starting RB coming off a down touchdown year but still put up 1275 yards and gets the ball A LOT.

Peterson is still elite but does not have as many years left as Lacy clearly. Patton, Mallett and Pierce are wild cards

This just in. 12 team FFPC

Gronk

Hartline

For

Jordan reed

Patterson
Gronk for me.
Reed / Patterson for me. Gronk is never on the field and that makes him a tad overrated.
Two potential studs for one. Gronk's the best player in this trade and Reed carries the highest risk due to concussions but Gronk carries immense risk himself for his laundry list of injuries. Due that immense risk I think there are 3 players in this deal that I think in a year or two we could be looking at as the best player in the trade and Hartline is obviously not it. Depending on my roster in some FFPC leagues I'd not even keep Hartline. So I'd rather be on Patterson/Reed side.

Barely downgrade my qb points to get a probable stud WR who is probably top 10 on most dynasty rankings, if not higher??? Yeah, stafford and Jeffrey side.

I agree and would take Jeffery. But I wouldn't call Rogers to Stafford "barely" a downgrade. Rogers' value should be compared to Jeffery's, as they're the two major parts of the deal.

Has rodgers been outscoring staffors by a ton the past few years?
IMO Rodgers' production is much safer moving forward. He's actually an elite player; Stafford is just a guy who throws more than anyone else.
And will continue to keep throwing as much or more than anyone else.

Of course rodgers is safer. Which is why there is a top stud WR coming back in the deal to make it a no brainer.

I personally don't think it's 100% that Stafford continues to set records for attempts moving forward with a new regime in place. Likely, given the personnel there, but they'd be better served asking him to do less IMO.

As far as that deal, I take Jeffrey and Stafford in a slam dunk too, but not because I think Stafford and Rodgers are close in value.
