I agree with that idea, but Hopkins is an excellent prospect too. He must be very confident that he won't be able to find a startable player at 4.
Is he just a JAG (a WR2), though? I'm very middle of the road about him.
I expect him to put up 80/1100/x. Nothing about that is wrong.
Considering what he did last year as 21 yo rookie, I believe his potential is even higher than that. It's not likely to happen as long as AJ is there but when he's gone Hopkins should benefit like Antonio Brown did last year.
Exactly, there's the rub. But when will that be? It might be as long as 3-4 years before Hopkins owners see that potential upside.

Team A trades:

DeAndre Hopkins

1.04

Team B trades:

1.01

Guess this one depends on if you're sold on Watkins. Guy that traded for the 1.01 made it clear that he wants Watkins.
1.04 and Hopkins for me
Yeah me too
Obvious one. This was a horribly undisciplined trade.
Yea, the guy picked Hopkins at 1.07 last year. Felt like he gave up a lot, but he also thinks Watkins has top 5 potential. Can't really fault him for getting his guy, although the price is more than most of us would even think about paying.

I like him.

As dysfunctional as the Texans offense was I would much rather trust what I saw when he did get the targets. I think AJ may cut into his WR1 type numbers but we have seen all over the NFL teams can support two very high end WR without difficulty

Hopkins is a decent talent but who's throwing him the ball in 2014?

Had been seeing at least mid 2nd, if not higher the past few weeks in startups. More than one rogue owner
:goodposting:

Consensus elite rookie prospects going that high is pretty par for the course. Guys like Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson, Calvin Johnson, and Trent Richardson consistently went much higher than 1.12 the years that they came out. I'm not a fan of going that route with any rookie, particularly without knowing where they land first, but it's not out of the ordinary.

With so much depth at the position, I can't get behind the move. It's one thing at RB where production comes early and there is a lack of reliable options. But there are more quality fantasy WRs than there's ever been, and it's still trending up.

PPR Scoring

Gave Ben Tate

Received 2015 1st

Team trading the 1st had 1.01 this year, but made a few moves to improve his team. I'd say that pick has a range of 1.03-1.08.

This one is fresh and I assume the offer was made for Sproles based on this morning's news:

12 team PPR

Gave:

Darren Sproles

For:

Da'Rick Rogers

2.10

Good haul for Sproles IMO. Think he's got about one year as a weak RB2 or decent RB3 left in him at this point. He'll help Philly more than he helps anyone's FF team.

Devy league where 2QBs are required, can start 3, but scoring is pretty even for all positions. Rounds 4-8 are devy picks, 2nd year in the league and we had a 16 round devy draft last year.

Team A gave up:

* Winston, Jameis FA QB

Team B gave up:

Robinson, Allen FA WR

Year 2014 Draft Pick 6.01

Year 2014 Draft Pick 7.01

Year 2014 Draft Pick 8.01

Year 2015 Round 6 Draft Pick from Team B

Year 2015 Round 7 Draft Pick from Team B

Year 2015 Round 8 Draft Pick from Team B
