montee ball

for

2015 1st rounder

2015 2nd rounder

2015 3rd rounder

picks are from the same team, likely a playoff team
Someone threw their picks away.
I was thinking someone gave ball away. I guess the mixed reviews are signs that the trade was more fair than I thought. I'll gladly give my 2015 playoff caliber 1st three rounds for Ball
Yeah. I respect people's expectations for Ball. I don't share them. I also think when a talented young player gets a starter in front of him moved, that's a great sign. It only means he'll have the chance to play. If he is bad, it doesn't matter if Moreno is gone or not. If Ball makes Manning/Gase/Fox angry, he becomes an albatross. Ball seems to be alot like Moreno. He isn't outstanding at anything. Just my opinion. Also, the Broncos now have an opening at RB. They could draft one that might make the coaches think twice about feeding Ball.

:lmao: at Matthews not starting. Donald Brown is a dog turd.
Who's had a higher YPC and YPR the past 2 years?

You think you know better than Chargers fan who have seen every play of Mathews' career? He won't be any loss to the team when they let him walk.

Interesting. I am trying to get Ball in another league and the owner wants my 1.02, 1.04 and 1.05. I told him I would give him 1.02 (Watkins or Evans).I like the Ball side here, but make sure you try and get CJ Anderson as well.
I don't think Anderson's role is set in stone. Hillman could just as easily get the backup role this preseason.
yeah I know I missed the CJ andersons gonna be a stud memo
I have to laugh as his value is all over the board. I have picked him up in a couple leagues as a cuff for Ball. Other owners want the world for him. I also have Anderson in a couple other leagues and have tried to move him to Ball owners. Most have no interest.
One of the issues I have is that as much as I appreciate when Cecil Lammey covers Broncos camp, he pumps up almost every player. Makes it harder to sort the Julius Thomas's from the Jeremiah Johnson's. The big thing Anderson had going for him was that the team kept him on active roster even though he was injured last year. May seem like no big deal, but those roster spots become scarce as the season goes on. The fact they hung on to him means they like him and were afraid to lose him. Doesn't guarantee he pans out, but I can see why owners might be hopeful.
This is a pretty good point and one that I think people are afraid to discuss. Cecil has a terrible record. After listening to our "insider" and acquiring the wrong back or receiver each year, I went full ignore this past year and enjoyed great seasons from Moreno and Thomas. Cecil brings alot to FBGs and I'm not torching him, but I'd rather listen to his take on, say, Pittsburgh than Denver. Perhaps he just lets emotions get in the way.

10 team start 1qb/2rb/3wr/1te/1flex(any)/idp 1ppr

I gave: Julius Thomas

I received 1.5

I already have Vernon Davis and Jordan Reed at TE and could really use some RB depth. I already have 1.3,1.4 so gonna try to pair some 1sts together and get a RB.

His TEs were Garret Graham, Marcedes Lewis and Owen Daniels. He's stacked at RB/WR (Martin, Murray, Lacy / Dez, Julio, Jeffery) so this should push him close to the favorite.

Probably sold him a bit too cheap, but he's been on the block for awhile and this is the best offer I've really received.

Flex (any) mean supeflex? If so I think that is a pretty solid get for JT.

Nice work

Unpack this for me please. Are you saying that Brown = Matthews? How do you see the touches split between the Charger RBs this year?

I live in Indiana and have seen far more Colts games than I'd care to the past five years -- and Donald Brown isn't any good. He's been beat out and outplayed by a collection of replacement level RBs from Joseph Addai (old version) to Vick Ballard. Indy gave him his walking papers six weeks prior to the start of free agency -- they didn't want him back at any price. He's just not good.

I get that you are bitter at the price paid for Matthews, and no, he's not LT. But I watched a bunch of SD games down the stretch last year, and Matthews absolutely did carry the offense. Not saying they will or should give him big bucks next year at all -- but if they hand the reins to Donald Brown, it's a massive downgrade. Brown is a backup level RB at best.

Charles by a lot. He'll probably put up more points over baseline than the other side's four guys combined, unless Johnson lands somewhere truly spectacular. And he's doing it from one spot.

FMV, but I'll take Brown because I don't see the value in Mathews.
Lol statement like no value in Mathews makes your opinion worth nil. Please support that. Guy had over 1300 yards with a slow start of the season and finished as strong rb2 on the year. Last 8 games he was RB 1. So yeah no value there.Guys like you crack me up. Either you sold too soon or wish you would have bought last year when he really was worth nothing.
1. I said the deal was fair market value, but I don't see the value in Mathews. Of course he's worth something, but I don't think he's worth the market price.

2. I own Mathews in one league, where I drafted him at 7.02 in a startup last year. I've never owned him otherwise (that I can remember).

3. Friendly suggestion: in the future, try to read and understand a comment before making unfounded personal attacks on the author. I understand that reading may not be your strength, but if you put in a little extra effort you may get more out of these forums than the fleeting satisfaction of having laughed at someone who disagrees with you.

moronic trade here. Who gives Charles for a bunch of beaten up players unlikely to see their old fantasy values?

Wouldn't call Fitz broken down. There's still a chance he bounces back into the top 10.

Seems pretty fair all around but I'd give the slight edge to the Matt Ryan/Golden Tate side.

I think they'll both have better years.

Pretty close.

TE premium and I like Cameron but still seems like alot to give up.

Probably lean to the Vereen/Olsen side for now
