Might be a little closer without Randle. With him, would much rather have that side.Dynasty League that can draft college players (total of 12 allowed on all rosters combined).
Team A gave up:
Bernard, Giovani CIN RB
Randle, Rueben NYG WR
Team B gave up:
Ball, Montee DEN RB

This one makes no sense to me. Put Randle on the other side and I'd still prefer Gio.Dynasty League that can draft college players (total of 12 allowed on all rosters combined).

That I hope you are not in a league that votes on every trade.Gave up my 2.10 for Randle.
I know what Gilbride stated recently and now Cruz's comments. I guess I can't see the NYG taking a WR early (certainly not at 12) given the needs they have. And, I think a WCO being installed helps Randle and works with is skill set. He's shown flashes and is still only 22. Like him more than my likely options in the late 2nd.
What do you think?
I would buy Randle for that I thinkGave up my 2.10 for Randle.

Ball will be a top 10 FF player this year and Gio won't. Randle is having issues with consistency and chemistry with Eli, so the way I see it is I'd rather give Randle for a 2nd as long as I really believe in the leap I will have from Gio to Ball and I do. I'm trying to win, not wait. That's about all I have to say about defending that trade, which I really don't need to do. It will all come out in the wash in December 2014.This one makes no sense to me. Over the final eight regular season games of last year, Ball rushed 65 times for 382 yds (5.87 ypc) with 3 TDs and 18 receptions for 118 yds for another TD. That was while playing behind Moreno. I can easily see 1600 or 1700 total yards and double digit TDs. Do you think Bernard will do better? Isn't he still in larger RBBC than what Ball will be in? I believe they are 1 year apart in age. It is always my philosophy to get the best player in the deal and I believe that is Ball if you want to win your league.Yeesh. It's certainly not a ludicrous position to take, preferring Ball (for 2014 especially), but like others I personally rank Gio higher than Ball. I just see him as the better talent (but yes there's more to production than just talent). I haven't done my 2014 projections yet, but I suspect both RBs will be in the same neighborhood. Gio has an OC that likes to run the ball, and BJGE is 29 and pedestrian to begin with. Not at all. I like Torrey Smith more than the concensus, but I'm shocked that offer was accepted. Good deal for you.Gave - Torrey Smith, Da'rick Rogers, 2.2, 2.7

I can respect your position thinking Gio is a better talent, but I disagree, or at least think they are comparable. Also, I did not trade Randle for any other reason other than to get Ball, who I think could be a beast in 2014 and beyond. I still like Randle, even if he is somewhat inconsistent with Manning, running the wrong routes, etc.. If he ever figures it out he could be very good. It's certainly not a ludicrous position to take, preferring Ball (for 2014 especially), but like others I personally rank Gio higher than Ball. I also think your panicking a little on Randle - based on a few vague quotes from the GM and former OC. Randle should be fine this season - as far as not having chemistry with Eli - what do you base that on? Last season the offense was a mess in general but Randle showed some play making ability scoring 6 TDs on 41 receptions, as a second year player.
Of course winning the battle of public perception will be meaningless if Ball has a top 5 season, and helps your fantasy team.
My thoughts as well.I feel like the former Forte owner made out pretty well.Team A trades: Lacy, K Wright and the #5 rookie pick

I am not a Lacy fan but at worst Lacy=Forte+1.07.
Then KWright/1.05 for pick 1.02 seems like a overpay for Evans
Give me Ball. That minority will be all but full fledge census this time next year.Awesome, you like Ball more than Gio. You are in the very small minority.
I'm the same, and had actually just traded for Torrey the week before. I had offered what I thought was a better deal (Torrey, Golden Tate, and a 2015 1st for Keenan), but this was his counter.I like Torrey Smith more than the concensus, but I'm shocked that offer was accepted.
