*** OFFICIAL *** 13/14 Off-Season Dynasty Trade Thread (2 Viewers)

Team A: Zach Ertz, Percy Harvin

Team B: Josh Gordon, Michael Floyd, 5th round pick
I can see a FLoyd for Harvin/Ertz deal as even. ALmost seems like Gordon for free.

Floyd and Gordon for me rather easily. Might hurt my finger clicking accept.
Didn't know I'd have to throw in something with Harvin to get Floyd...as I like Harvin better than Floyd alone. If I'm competing now, I'd take the Harvin side - if I'm rebuilding I'd take the Gordon/Floyd side.
I can see preferring Harvin over Floyd straight up. I do also.

But FLoyd is going well ahead of Harvin in startups this summer, at least some of the most recent ones I have seen.

Value-wise, this is Gordon for free.
Might be about what he's worth, depending on how things play out. I was able to move him for Fitz and LB Derrick Johnson earlier this week, though (I had also lost Daryl Washington for the year). Suspensions were killing me!

These are why getting him free is huge.

If there is a 20% chance he ever gets himself together, wouldnt you like a free 20% shot at a top 5 stud WR??

Cause if he player, he is a stud. Not maybe, he is.

1 point PPR

Team A: Ellington and Gronk

Team B: McCoy and M.Bennett.
Think I'll side with McCoy if not TE premium
Yeah, definitely need roster size, lineup requirements, and clarification of scoring system to even begin here. Not sure why people continue to post deals like this without any specifics.

But, I will just assume NON TE premium 12 teamer here, and its close, but I think I take Mccoy side.

Gave: Clay, 2015 2nd (early) 2015 3rd (late)

Got: Olsen, Andre Williams

Of note, I have David Wilson, but not Rashad Jennings. Giving the (probably early) 2nd hurts, but I like it anyway.

Close one. I'll take the side getting Harvin though since it's 1 RB. Guys like Hill and A. Williams who probably aren't going to catch many passes are likely RB2s at best. They have more value in leagues where you have to trot 2 RBs out there every single week.

I'm the weirdo who prefers Clay to Olsen straight up, although 1.5PPR for TEs changes the calculus some. I could see that deal for a win-now team, but I'd definitely prefer the Clay side.

I'd take the Ellington/Gronk side. I'm pretty high on Ellington though.

I did a startup draft recently and this type of decision is almost exactly what I faced as I had the 1.07 (which ended up being Shady). I decided to trade down for a 2nd and 3rd rounder (and sent a 9th). Gronk is a 2nd rounder and I like Ellington as a 3rd rounder in a startup draft (reached a little and took him late 3rd in this startup), so I'll take those 2 over McCoy.

Even in 1 point PPR for TEs, a healthy Gronk is pretty close in value every week to Shady. And Ellington is worth way more than Bennett obviously.

I don't think you're a weirdo. But I do think I am win now. TE's are Davis, Eifert, Kelce, Rivera, and now Olsen.

If you believe Clay will do as much or more than last year, then he's pretty much equal to Olsen and quite a bit younger. But I think Olsen will/could put up 900 yards and 7-8 TDs this year with the WRs in Carolina being as young and in-development as they are...

Furthermore I was motivated to get Williams before the Jennings owner made a move.

Clay doesn't have the physical traits I look for in an elite TE and think he might have just about reached his ceiling last year.

I'd rather have Olsen even though he's 4 years older and wait for some younger TE's to develop.

Charles Clay- 6'3", 245lbs. 4.73 forty, 18 reps, 33.5" vert, 118" broad, 7.07 3-cone, 4.15 shuttle

Aaron Hernandez- 6'2", 245lbs. 4.64 forty, 30 reps, 33" vert, 111" broad, 6.83 3-cone, 4.18 shuttle

I'd say Clay is athletic enough. Strong college production, and the rushing ability is a nice bonus- not many TEs double as their team's best goal-line runner. The Rotoviz guys ran similarity scores and found that, based on them, Charles Clay was the second-most underrated TE by ADP (behind Antonio Gates).

I wouldn't be shocked if last year was a career year, but there's enough upside there that I'd gladly take a chance.

Team A: Demaryius Thomas

Team B: Michael Floyd, Brandin Cooks, 2015 1st round pick

Dynasty, both teams are contenders

12 Team PPR Dynasty IDP....Traded QB Tom Savage(6.06) for RB Steven Jackson.
Pretty sure I would meet that price for a rental of Steven Jackson
I don't even particularly believe in Jackson this season, but this is being allowed to see if last year's lack of production was all injury related for the cost of basically only using up a roster spot.

At worst you get a month of mediocre flex starts for a player you would have been misguided to roster this early anyway.

Agreed. Unless we're talking about the absolute deepest of 2 QB leagues, Savage has no business even being on a roster.

I like Floyd and Cooks but still take DT here
its funny, I don't like either of them that much and I still take them and the pick. when manning retires, thomas becomes just as uncertain as floyd or cooks, and not only do you get both, you get a first round pick. That's a steep price to pay for a year or two of elite production.

DT was putting up numbers with Tebow.....he will survive and thrive after Manning.

I am going to love when Manning retires and I can get DT for pennies on the dollar. The guy was putting up wr3 numbers coming off an Achilles and he had Tebow averaging 150 passing yards a game. Quick question for everyone that thinks DT will fall off the face of the earth when Manning retires. How do guys like Gordon, Andre Johnson, Green do it without quarterbacks like Manning?P.S. Thanks for making me laugh saying DT would be just as much as an uncertain as a rookie who has yet to play in the NFL.
