Allen himself could go up by 10-15%, but you've got to need a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 to even care. In a vacuum, okay, but WR is so deep, most guys already have two WRs who'll score 200 to 250 pts in PPR.

Panthers D likely stays the same or a little worse, tougher schedule. Manuel very little value unless 2 QB or SuperFlex.

Add in positional scarcity of relevant RBs, easy reject.

I'm not even thinking about the DST or Manuel. To me Allen is worth more than Sankey, Randle and LaFell by a decent amount. Sankey could be good but he also could be a COP back like some have indicated. Randle could be good, he could win the 2 job but he might end up as the 3. Lafell has little value, the news that he might fill the Hernandez role is silly. Allen is the unquestioned number 1. He was number 2 in Offensive ROY voting and had one of the best WR rookie years ever. If nothing more Allen could be leveraged more easily into an elite player than Sankey/Randle combo. Startup wise Allen is a mid 2. Sankey mid to late 4, Randle 8. Few people would trade a mid 2nd for a mid 4th and an 8th. In a vacuum I still like Allen here but I also think that he could be a stepping stone to the next level that the other guys are not.

Well my roster is thin at both RB and WR, but I agree with what Evil G said, I think there is great upside in both Randle (especially after recent reports) and Sankey (he has the easiest path of any rookie RB)

Good chance Andre sits out a lot of camp crying. Mcclain doesn't seem to think Houston will trade him and eventually he'll report so he gets his money, but it could be late. in that scenario, he's an even worse injury risk and likely takes a while to adjust to a new offense. Give me Cord.

Some guys are just perennial rebuilders chasing young upside forever. I imagine he will regret this big time. The worst part being that even if he hits the jackpot on some of these guys, his best hope is to get the same production he already had. I know guys get nervous about age and injury history, but sometimes you gotta just stick with what you have and hope for the best.

Seems like a very fair trade. I keep going back and forth on which side I would prefer.

4ths and 5ths are all longshots, anyway. They're lottery picks. If you like one lottery pick available, I have no problem trading another lottery pick to get him.

In the earlier rounds, I think trading future picks for current picks a round later is a major losing strategy. Maybe if I have a league-destroying juggernaut I might consider trading my 2nd rounder next year for a very, very early 3rd rounder this year, but even then I'm going to be hesitant. So much can go wrong.

I don't know - one pick is in 2016 and I'm not high on Benjamin and would never had used a first round pick on him. I don't think I'd accept this offer for Julio alone, and I'm also a big fan of Jordan Reed.

The "prospects" are a 7th round and UDFA RB, a QB that will sit at least 2-3 more seasons, a RB that suffered a devastating injury and whose team spent an early pick on a RB this year, and a guy that legitimately may never play another NFL snap.

So the deal is basically a WR (that I don't like) and two future firsts (one that I can't use for three more seasons), a promising young TE (with serious concussion issues) plus a bunch of players that likely may turn out to be pocket lint for Julio? No, thanks.

Oh - and that is not even taking into consideration the fact that he also traded away Gronk and Fitz in the deal - that may be the worst dismantling of a team that I've seen.

Now watch, that guy will probably win the league in two years

Shocked others in the league weren't more proactive. Rebuilding or win now he should have been able to haul a young tier 2 WR (like Cobb/Allen) and a 1st at a minimum. Nicely done.

There's enough uncertainty for Rice to make a 2nd reasonable.

However, Charles for Williams/1st horrible value. Should've been able to get a better WR and a 1st from somebody.

So maybe he'll be a contender in 5 or 6 years?

Of course I like the trades for me or I wouldn't have made them, but I wouldn't put them in that category. He had been selling these guys for awhile, everyone had a shot at them. I gave a fair amount for Williams after he blew up last season & I was trying to make a run.

They are terrible value for the other guy - I can maybe see bailing on Rice (but for a late future second. why bother?), but the Charles deal is ridiculous (it doesn't matter what you paid to get Williams - and I do like Williams).

Agree with this.

Journeyman QB who just had the best 7 games of his career for 32yr old WR who missed all of last year due to injury. Pretty much even as neither carries much value in any league

In Superflex I prefer pretty much any starting QB here. This is amplified not being PPR. If Flacco was your QB4/5 and you needed RB help I could see doing it.
