denver gives up a 1st round for a 37th pick. LMAO!!!
from DraftGuys.comHere’s what New England has coming up in the top 100 picks now:2(34)2(41)2(47)2(58)3(73)3(83)3(89)3(97)

It's not his speed, it is his utter lack of instincts. He makes the big hits when he is blitzing and doesn't have to think. He is a 2 down linebacker with no instincts. That is a late 2nd day player, IMO.Laurinitis is also a very similar player, St. Louis is not going to be happy with him.Rey is so over-rated and it is showing today....just because he delivers big hits does not mean he will be productive in the NFL. His speed is seriously a question mark.

no runningback here??? wow... denver is slippingdenver gives up a 1st round for a 37th pick. LMAO!!!
forget it...he's on a roll.....CB?Delmas is the best safety in the draft and has drawn comparisons to Bob Sanders.(C'mon, Lions, don't screw this up!!!)They don't have a MLB and they pass on Maluaga.....

My GOD wtf?! Did they call up Millen and ask for advice?! Delmas?!!? Maluaga and Lauraintis available there, and even Everette Brown, and they pass on all of them for some CB....

Do they really think Alphonso Smith is a 1st rounder in 2010? Really?McDaniels is going to get lynched.
I'm mad they passed on Oher, but so far they have the #1 QB, #1 TE, and #1 Safety. It's a solid draft and I can't complain. But somehow they need to address the OL.I'd have preferred the Lions take one of the MLBs, but I like Delmas a lot.
Like I said before, the Lions aren't going to win next year, so it's more important that they get the best players rather than fill holes. However, OL might be an exception. I don't feel good about having $70 million invested in a QB who has to play behind the current line.Alphonso Smith is an outstanding cover corner. Have you seen him play?Ha ha did Denver just trade one of their 1st rounders next year for Alphonso Smith?
When did Matt Millen become Denver's GM?

Eh - Culpepper will take that beating and then they can upgrade next year.I'm mad they passed on Oher, but so far they have the #1 QB, #1 TE, and #1 Safety. It's a solid draft and I can't complain. watch...the bengals will take Rey![]()

The Emperor did just pick DHB at #7 overall - and even Death himself won't be able to tear his skeletal hands from the throat of that franchise.I am a big Josh McDaniels fan.
2nd this year = 1st next year. happens all the time.Seriously, WTF was Denver thinking with that trade? 37th overall for a 1st rounder. I call shenanigans on that transaction, that shouldn't have even been allowed.
Has a new HC and/or GM ever been fired before they even play a game?

He is ok. 4th or 5th best corner in this draft.Alphonso Smith is an outstanding cover corner. Have you seen him play?Ha ha did Denver just trade one of their 1st rounders next year for Alphonso Smith?
Wouldn't you want all of your 1st round picks every year? I understand if you are heavy and need to make a move, but come on Denver, put down the Percy Harvin and get your heads in the draft.Doesn't Denver have an extra first next year?
I am shocked Butler has dropped this far. He is an unbelievable corner. Plays very well against the run too.Any chance E Brown, Butler, or Ebon Britton last until 49ers pick? If they get one of those guys, or even Rey, they HAVE to get an A for Day 1.
Especially when you are the new coach and you managed to give away your best player so the fans will hang you if your season sucks in year 1 anyway.2nd this year = 1st next year. happens all the time.Seriously, WTF was Denver thinking with that trade? 37th overall for a 1st rounder. I think the Lions are having a darn good draft so far. I think they would have been equally or better served going OL, but safety is definitely a need in that division.Gruden: "Here's my notes here. 'I have no idea what the Denver Broncos are doing'"![]()

except he's doing it wrong. Patriots stockpile picks. Broncos are giving them away.McDaniel just made a move that he saw the Patriots benefit from more than once. Was he paying attention? I'm rarely a fan of dealing away a future #1 and if you do you better be getting a known commodity (i.e. a veteran) that will have an impact.
LOL at the Donkeys....where is Mark Schlereth telling us how the Bears overpaid for Cutler and how the Donkeys won that trade hands down? The Donkeys are horrible .... get your brown bags out Denver fans.

He was listed as CB on NFL.com.As for best safety in draft. Meh, I sure hope he proves me wrong... of course, I say the same thing about Stafford...CB?Delmas is the best safety in the draft and has drawn comparisons to Bob Sanders.(C'mon, Lions, don't screw this up!!!)They don't have a MLB and they pass on Maluaga.....
