Those 3 guys are easily replaceable. Think the Jets did well here.1st, 2nd, DE K.Coleman, QB B.Ratliff, DB A.Elamthat's not that great of a haul for Cleveland.
really?Hmm...CLE made out like bandits here.Wow, no 1st next year. Good job Jets.
Both sides did well. You have to figure Ryan wants his guys, not Mangini's leftovers. Better to trade them then next years #1 in my opinion.Hmm...CLE made out like bandits here.Wow, no 1st next year. Good job Jets.
Really? To move down TWELVE spots in the first round and to only pick up a 2nd rounder this year? Not great by any means.great deal by the Browns I must say
Jags might want to sit tight at #8 here - they're either going to have a crack at Crabtree or they can get either Andre Smith or Monroe.
I'm way good with any of those three.Abram Elam made some plays this year, but overall I agree with you. They moved all the way down to #17 yet didnt get the Jets #1 in 2010. I guess it depends on how you rate the players thrown into the deal....1st, 2nd, DE K.Coleman, QB B.Ratliff, DB A.Elamthat's not that great of a haul for Cleveland.
Not a good trade IMOAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!Browns get 3 players, the Jets 1st, and the Jets 2nd!!S-Abram ElamDE-Kenyon ColemanQB-Brett Ratliffe
I agree. Not bad but doesn't blow me away.1st, 2nd, DE K.Coleman, QB B.Ratliff, DB A.Elamthat's not that great of a haul for Cleveland.
Guess we'll have to see what the Browns do with the picks, but those 3 players don't add a lot of value, IMO.Those 3 guys are easily replaceable. Think the Jets did well here.1st, 2nd, DE K.Coleman, QB B.Ratliff, DB A.Elamthat's not that great of a haul for Cleveland.
I wouldn't say "like bandits", but they made out well. Upgraded at 2 positions, moved down to very meaty spot in the draft and added 2nd round pick.really?Hmm...CLE made out like bandits here.Wow, no 1st next year. Good job Jets.
You don't trade with a team that wants to draft your target player, you trade with a team picking before them. That said, I don't see a team that would really want Sanchez until SF at 1.10, so I still don't get the haste.who were the Jets worried about that might have taken Sanchez?

I don't think they're done.Really? To move down TWELVE spots in the first round and to only pick up a 2nd rounder this year? Not great by any means.great deal by the Browns I must say
They also got a starting DE for a team that needs a DE.Really? To move down TWELVE spots in the first round and to only pick up a 2nd rounder this year? Not great by any means.great deal by the Browns I must say

I think Cleveland is just getting started.
DA or Quinn will most likely be moved... Fatty liked Ratliff1st, 2nd, DE K.Coleman, QB B.Ratliff, DB A.Elamthat's not that great of a haul for Cleveland.![]()
that's what i'm wondering.. what team after 5 did the Jets think was going to take Sanchez that they had to get up to 5 to take him?You don't trade with a team that wants to draft your target player, you trade with a team picking before them. They probably got 2 defensive starters, a back-up for when they trade either Quinn or Anderson, and an extra pick. They also got a starting DE for a team that needs a DE.Really? To move down TWELVE spots in the first round and to only pick up a 2nd rounder this year? Not great by any means.great deal by the Browns I must say
That was the easiest projection in the draft. I hope the Bengals enjoy Smith and his fried egg t!ts.
The Bengals aren't as bad as the Lions, but they sure are trying. Losers.lolThat was the easiest projection in the draft. I hope the Bengals enjoy Smith and his fried egg t!ts.
me to, those are the players the Coach likedI don't think they're done.Really? To move down TWELVE spots in the first round and to only pick up a 2nd rounder this year? Not great by any means.great deal by the Browns I must sayI think Cleveland is just getting started.
The only scenario I've heard of that might explain this was the Redskins trading up to 1.08 with the Jags to pick Sanchez. If the Jets were desperate to draft him, and couldn't work a deal with the Raiders or Bengals, then this might have been the result.that's what i'm wondering.. what team after 5 did the Jets think was going to take Sanchez that they had to get up to 5 to take him?You don't trade with a team that wants to draft your target player, you trade with a team picking before them. Yup, I hate Clev but this was a good deal for them. They probably got 2 defensive starters, a back-up for when they trade either Quinn or Anderson, and an extra pick. They also got a starting DE for a team that needs a DE.Really? at that price, was probably an easy move for them to get the guy they wanted. not like they had to overpay for the 5 spot. seems pretty unusual for a deal like that to not involve next year's 1st.that's what i'm wondering.. what team after 5 did the Jets think was going to take Sanchez that they had to get up to 5 to take him?You don't trade with a team that wants to draft your target player, you trade with a team picking before them. 1. Are Coleman or Abram any good?
2. Does Mangini now trade Quinn or Anderson because he considers Ratliff his backup QB?
Something they should have done last year when they could have gotten something for anderson.I think the Jets also threw in 40 pounds of italian sausage and 6 Sham-wows.

Great deal for the Browns, who normally don't do great deals. They probably got 2 defensive starters, a back-up for when they trade either Quinn or Anderson, and an extra pick. They also got a starting DE for a team that needs a DE.Really? Happy with Smith.
I know folks think he's a nutcase, but the kid can play.
