I'm surprised (and disappointed) the cutoff is so high. I finally got huge scores from S. Jackson, Greg Olsen and Rob Bironas, but taking a 3.5 for WR2 and 0 for WR3 will be my downfall. Thanks Decker and D Henderson. Lost McFadden, Goodson and Antonio Brown the week James Jones is on bye or I think I would've been ok.

Still have Dwyer but he won't count until he hits 7.8 and I'm about 5 under cut line now... I don't see him saving me.

Until next year...

My unofficial cutline is 163.35. As always, don't celebrate too hard or feel too bad until the official #'s are released tomorrow morning.

survived a horrible week
Same here. 166 and change with a handful of regular contributors either on bye/hurt. First week I've really had to sweat the Turk. Think the closest I've been to the line to this point was 20-21 points. Was not a comfy Monday evening for me. Thankfully Wallace made the circus TD catch.
kardplayer pretty much nailed the cutline
 +1Good stuff, kard. Really appreciate that you do that BTW.

Happy to do it. Started when I was dancing around the bubble last year. Figured if I wasn't the only one who would appreciate it!

Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush issued an apology via Twitter to fans after he was benched following a first-quarter fumble in Week 10. 'I have to apologize to Dolphin Nation,' Bush said. 'My performance these past few weeks has been poor and I'm embarrassed right now! You guys deserve better.
Darn tootin' I do  5 points below the line.

Made it through by .85 points, I think Dwyers catch near the end of the game put me over. Team has 29 players. 23 which are not K's or D's. Out of those 23 I had 8 players out due to injury or bye and another one exit the game early due to injury. Also had one of my D's on bye. I used Leshoure and Dwyer as my two RB's this week, did not have a double digit producing defense, my third WR barely broke double digits and this was my lowest QB output for the week. Greg Olsen put up 21% of my teams points. Can't believe this team is alive.

I only made it by 2.5 points in week 4, 6.95 points in week 8. A few other weeks since week 4 where I made it by less than 20 points with the biggest margin of advancement being 24. Never had a team ride the cutline this long.

There are a lot of teams with two running backs at fairly high prices that both players are either out or on bye.

Peterson/Murray 35

Lynch/Murray 33

Lynch/McFadden 78

Peterson/McFadden 55

Lynch/Peterson 69

Peterson/F. Jackson 33

Lynch/F. Jackson 77

McFadden/Jackson 34

Murray/Jackson 12

Total 426

Given that a lot of teams also had Mendenhall or Benson as a cheap option, there are likely to be a lot of those

teams that won't score much at running back this week.

Lynch/Peterson for me with Benson, Mendenhall & Tate possibly out. Need Ridley to score a couple times and Ronnie Brown to catch a handful of passes. I thought 7 RB's was plenty but I will be sweating it this week

I've been riding Ridley all year. He was my most expensive rb and I'm still alive. It would be nice to get a bunch of Peterson and lynch out of this contest though.

For the curious, here is LHUCKS' last three 3 weeks:

Wk 8 185.50

Wk 9 158.35

Wk 10 161.55

So he can sleep tight knowing at least that one back week didn't do him in.

Unlike some of us (so far) :ptts:

yup...my ghost team still alive. They need a redemption island.

This will be a hold my breath week for me.

I'm one of the Peterson/Jackson group, and have 7 of my 22 man squad on bye this week.

will be riding MaGahee, Martin, and Royster at RB; Jones, Brown, and Young at REC

survived another week 183.05 but lost FJax. Got Amendola back,Jordy past his bye so hopeful but not confident. The AP/Lynch/CJ2K bye will help some.

I so need some big time luck and ALL of the above players to go out this week. Good luck everyone.

Iggy, Here's a database query request for ya. Top 10, or 50, or 250 teams based on cumulative points scored weeks 1-3? Since no teams are on bye, and the prize money is awarded over a cumulative 3 week stretch where there are no byes, we may be able to grab an early glimpse of some of the favorite teams out there. Thanks!
Here are the top ten:

Update

Yup, no QB this week with Vick ruled out and Locker on bye. Only RB's who even have a chance to score points this week are McFadden and Taiwan Jones.

Need an epic week from every other position to survive.

It makes it very painful to come back into this thread when the difference between being out and alive was Locker not playing on Brees bye. At the least, I think it's reinforcing that my strategy was good, just some bad luck.

I have Locker as well to go with RG3 & Luck. Last 2 years I was eliminated by QB injuries. I know it goes against the grain but starting this season I vowed to always carry three.

First time checking back on this since I was eliminated week 4. I was pretty upset, thinking I had a great team, I've been staying far away.

Turns out I was right. I've been cruising since I was eliminated that week by 4 points, with Rodgers, AP, and Doug Martin carrying my team. Also, that was one of the games Dez dropped a wide-open touchdown.

Maybe next year, since I'm creating a DB of all the teams and calculating scores for all of them every week anyway, I should set up some kind of "second chance" side contest for all of us, so our entries still have something to play for if we just miss the cut in the main contest one week.

Curious to see what people think about this. Do you take the 9.1% chance knowing more teams from that group are still alive. Or, do you take the 21.5% chance even though that group has the fewest teams alive.

It is pretty clear that if you're betting on who's going to win the whole thing, you're going to do better at this point with the 18-player field than the 29-player field. But that's only because there were way too many of them to begin with. If you had to choose one single team, you should probably be choosing a large roster.

Thank You from me as we'll. and big Props for the Live Scoring App.I have as much fun with this as I do my other leagues. But I just do not see how I survive this week with only McCluster/LeShoure at RB. But it was a great run.

Live scoring app is all Organized Chaos - he built it and makes it all work. I download info from his system to run the live cutlines.

Happy with the unexpected good start from Bess and Miami Def. Only player last night for me was Tannenhill but have Flacco and Ryan waiting....

Entry 104762

Based on the number of teams missing RB's this week I like my chances to move on...

Mendenhall is playing this week. That gives teams another RB to score even a few points for them. I now have three RB(McGahee, Jennings and Mendenhall)that can contribute instead of two.Getting 17 points from Bess is a pleasant surprise.

37.5 points after Thursday's game.... Bess 17, Bills 15, and R Bush 5.5..

Happy with Bess and the Bills, but needed a good game out of Bush.

Very happy with their 15 points considering Seattle's on a bye. Didn't realize I had anyone going until I saw your post. Thanks. With all the RB injuries and byes, I'm feeling pretty good about Foster, Martin, Mendenhall, and Royster being healthy. Hopefully they can make up for Julio possibly being out.

25 teams have 4 or 5 PK and 4 or 5 Def.One of those teams has 22 players (1 QB, 1 TE, 6 RB, 6 WR)

Everyone else has 25+
