Amazingly made the cut by a hair despite getting 1.3 pts from my top two RB's, Hillis and Kevin Smith :bag:

I'm probably toast this week unless McFadden makes a miraculous recovery.

LOL don't EVER hit Preview Post as the first time i ever tried that it just erased my whole lengthy post

here is the short version of a 30-man roster example

PManning 18

Luck 11

Locker 9

Tannehill 7

SJax 22

Peterson 21

Lynch 19

McGahee 16

Ridley 14

Mendenhall 4

Benson 3

Royster 3

LBall 2

Floyd 11

Britt 11

Cobb 9

Amendola 6

Hankerson 4

ARoberts 3

Gordon 3

JacJones 2

Broyles 2

VDavis 23

Rudolph 11

KDavis 4

DAllen 2

Prater 3

Zuerlein 3

Seahawks 4

Chiefs 3

only real misses were Royster/KDavis/Chiefs as Hankerson and Jacoby Jones were just fliers with LBall serving as McGahee insurance ... so 24 hits out of 30

just survived a Lynch/Peterson/Locker/Britt/SeaDST bye week with an early McGahee injury

get Benson back and Mendy takeover and have a shot now that VDavis has a QB and Broyles has grabbed a fulltime role

my downfall may be WR, need a healthy Amendola and for teams to single cover Floyd now that DAlexander is beasting

After many weeks of avoiding this thread... Ghost entry still, amazingly, alive. Thank you Mr. Blackmon.

http://ffltools.com/fbg35k/teams/2012/103563#

Still don't know what I was thinking with Steven Jackson, and can't believe I've "survived" after my week 4 exit with Gates. Egad. Haven't been regretting things too much as I still don't think I had much of a chance at the final 250. Now that I'm posting about it, I'll be sure to be ghost eliminated next week, letting me sleep easy.

Miracles happen and I am still in the contest.

I do not think I will be able to win or compete with the teams that have mostly studs at this point, but I am just happy to have made it this far.

How much does the top 1000 pay? LOL

Gabbert to IR means I'm dependent on Rodgers staying healthy now. Gabbert was a waste of $6 -- didn't need him any week and now he's gone. Royster was probably also a waste of $3, and probably Carlson at $2.

At least all my higher-priced guys have helped me survive, and they're looking strong for the stretch run. I like my chances if Rodgers and Graham stay healthy, though these last 2 cuts are going to be tough:

Aaron Rodgers $31

Blaine Gabbert $6

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Arian Foster $34

Doug Martin $21

Rashard Mendenhall $4

Cedric Benson $3

Evan Royster $3

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Calvin Johnson $29

Julio Jones $23

Brandon Marshall $22

Titus Young $10

Justin Blackmon $7

Jerome Simpson $7

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jimmy Graham $29

John Carlson $2

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Matt Bryant $4

Rob Bironas $3

Matt Prater $3

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buffalo Bills $5

Seattle Seahawks $4

Still alive, luckily everyone has a hurt player or four.

I like your roster a lot. This is an example of what I was talking about in an earlier post. I have the horses to make the playoffs, but not to compete with a small stud roster like this, if everyone performs to expectations.

At this point I try not to even look at other peoples rosters.Don't want to get discouraged by all the stud rosters out there. I figure if I can make the final 250 maybe I can get lucky with my team and have an outstanding couple of weeks and be right there with the leaders.I mean the sun even shines on a dogs ### sometimes right?

"if everyone performs to expectations"Yeah, that's the key. I like my chances if my studs stay healthy and perform as expected, but we all know anything can happen in fantasy football. I've been lucky that my main studs have been mostly healthy, and will need to be lucky for that to happen the rest of the way, too. I'm down to a 19-man roster now (17 if you don't count Royster and Carlson), and we know how those don't survive very well.

If my QB, TE, and 2 stud RB's stay healthy, along with most of my WR's, I like my chances. This might be a tough week if Julio doesn't play and the rest of my guys don't do well, but we only have 2 more weeks to survive to the finals.

EDIT: It finally updated....

Happy turkey day everyone...

Is the live scoring working for anyone? Mine does not show any scores.

Does anyone have the actual scores by player for week 11? Or the full list of teams (with numbers, not screen names) of the 1000 that advanced? I need one or the other so I can do live cutline Monday night.

I have to think that with the scoring on Thursday that the cut line this week will be really high. Love some feedback
Yes/NoTake the top ~4 scorers at each position. Put them into the queue in the OP and count how many teams have one of those scorers. Then, combine more combination of names to attempt to identify the amount of teams that have multiple scorers on those teams. I would guess that maybe 50-100 teams have four or more of those scorers. Thus, the overall line gets bumped up but the line will be equalized by the teams that had few of those scorers depending on the future games.I, myself, had zero players going on Thursday and in my mind the key number to hit to not worry come Monday night will be ~170.

If 170 is the magic number and I think your right about that, then I need my remaining 8 scorers to avg 14 points each.Hopefully thats doable.

Even though I'm in the top 1000 one mistake I have made is 2 defenses 2 kickers. I think I'll go with 3 and 3 next year.

Look at this rag-tag bunch of RBs that made it through Week 11. Only by the miracle that is Bilal Powell actually being a major contributor. Going into Week 11 I figured about a 2% chance of advancing.

I'm not sure that's a mistake. I have 3 kickers, Bryant, Bironas, and Prater, and Prater's been useless for my team. He only counted one week, and he only had 1 point more than Bryant that week, when I made the cut by 12 points. Actually, Bironas hasn't made the difference any weeks, either, so I would have been fine with Bryant and either one. The key may be to hit on one good kicker and have a backup to fill in for his off weeks. Bryant's week 3 dud of 3 points was the only week I needed another kicker to survive (0 on his bye week was fine). So far, at least, my team would have been better off with the $3 spent on Prater allocated somewhere else. Maybe he'll help in one of these remaining weeks, though.

I went with 1 DF and took the 0 on the bye week. So far that gamble has paid off IMO.

All good now. Found a few glitches, but have the right Week 11 cutline now.Game on for Week 12.

Projected cutoff if everyone scores exactly to their projections = 165.35. I haven't run this line earlier this year (I think Iggy did this last year), so no idea if that is ever in the ballpark or not. Obviously very dependent on lots of factors...

Hope it's wrong, as I'm projected in 790th place...

Yuck! 979! Lets go Rivers and Gates... 3 TD's from Rivers... all to Gates!! SWEET!!!!!

I like being in the top 100 there, but those projections assume Julio's going to play and score pretty well. Hopefully either that happens or one of my other guys steps up in his place. These cuts are getting tougher and tougher as we approach the top 250.

I can beat that. I'm projected at 991 so I really have to outperform to make the top 500. I've been feeling each week for the past couple that I'm barely making it but I really mean it this week. Luck is my only QB and my best chance of good RB scoring is with Lynch/Sproles since McFadden is out. Harvin out hurts my WRs as well.Overall this year I think I had a decent team - cant complain since I made it this far. I think I really nailed my WR this year - Harvin, Wayne, Amendola, James Jones were huge for me and got me through a few weeks. I'm a believer in 3 def, 3 kicker but it really comes down to picking the right people/teams. I think my team was built well to survive but I didn't have the firepower to put up a really big score in any given week. I don't have anyone on my roster who is likely to put up a Calvin-type week with 150+ yards and a couple of scores.I made it this far and it's been a blast watching it every week. Good luck to those who advance. I think I'll be watching from the sidelines after this week.

333 for me. Hope that holds but my RB situation is very week after the first half of todays games. I need Lynch or Mendenhall to make up for the loss of McGahee :help:

Looking really shaky now with Harvin & Hester (not that I counted on Hester) out and Peterson taken out of the game by the Bears. Need some other players to step up.

Really need the Seattle backfield to get some points.

Only other hope is a career day between Brees and Graham.

After the early games at 181 and some change with Rodgers,Boldin, and Olsen that could count for me.If 170 is the cut should be safe to move on.Good luck to everyone sweating the turk.

166.95 after the early games. Still have Steven Jackson or Ronnie Brown (-0,00), Antonio Gates or Martellus Bennett (-14,00), Saints or Ravens D (-4,00) and some other guys in the late games. Looks good so far.

From my team:

Chris Johnson is showing up with 1.10

Justin Blackmon is showing up with 0.00

Those two are the easiest to figure out in my head.
