85 not bad arm hurt a little. Got some other malady that I need check on its either hip or nerve damage again....

would have scored better but hit 4 pitches on the ground dead right 2 holes in a row. But for not swinging since November and my current ailments not bad

 
Well I shot an 81. Chipped in for a par and chipped in for a birdie. Hit 3 balls in the water. Weirdest round I've ever played.

 
Anyone played The Honors in Dallas? I did today in freezing rain...made it thru 9. Looked like an older, well- designed track...Donald Ross-esque.

 
Scramble = won.

Love ripping away with reckless abandon and always playing the best as opposed to safest shot.

If you think the new ones are something, you should try a vokey from a couple of years ago before the new groove rules came out. you can stop one of those things from anywhere.

got a Vokey 52-08 wedge on Friday. oilcan finish, but not the SM4/5. any way to tell what year it might be?

 
My God, these people whining about Faldo playing at Harbourtown are ridiculous. Hey also-ran, he's won the event and is one of the best players ever to play the game. You are not. Play better or ####.

75 for my 2nd rd of year. Wonder if i can get in the 60's this year, havent practiced at all.

One thing i learned watching the pros hit balls at augusta, they dont take big backswings and they dont change their tempo no matter what club. They're like metronomes. So ive decided no more big swings on the tee box, seemed to work great yesterday.

 
3 rounds this year. 82 81 82.

I'm hitting 55% FIR and 65% GIR. But it's always a 2-putt. Now part of that is the greens here are still dormant. But I'd be shooting in the mid-70s if I could make a ####### putt.

The guy hardly plays anymore, I can't imagine they really expected him to make the cut. It was a one time deal.

I'm falling apart tendonitis strained oblique I can't turn to the ball its cost me manage 85 but its been ugly

 
Kuchar goes out in 30 and was bogey free -7 on the day with two to play, up by one. 3-putted from 4 feet.

ETA: holed out from the bunker on the 72nd hole!

Me too. Shoulder is just not allowing me to turn loosely. It's frustrated me to the point that I haven't picked up a club in 2 months.

I'm normally playing 1-2 times a week right now.

pga tour is so sick, how can some many tournaments come down to a hole out on the last hole? It's not like it's a large sample size, its a couple to a few guys at most that have the chance late on Sunday, yet it keeps happening. Blows my mind. Kuchar this week, Matt Jones a couple weeks before. Senden chip in on 17 a couple weeks before that. Zach Johnson from the fairway after he put one in the water to beat Tiger, Spieth from the Bunker last year to go on to win the John Deer.

Just got word that a college friend from mine was at an outing today and was crossing the road from one 9 to the clubhouse to grab some beers and got clipped by a pickup. Flipped the cart and he has a broken neck and spine with head injuries. They have already said if he lives he will never walk again.

I don`t think people realize how dangerous golf carts can be.

Now back to golf. Played my first week in the league on Tuesday. Shot a 44 in freezing weather. Drove the ball very well but Again I pulled all my short irons way left...I mean from 120 in I was missing the entire green left.

Had to cross a road. I guess it was his fault because there was a stop sign for golf carts. Not a busy road. Just the road that splits some courses.

eta: my sisters boss fell out of a cart during a work outing and died :(

Any one in the Phoenix area? Got a tee time and free lunch and drinks at whirlwind on Sunday and playing partner just dropped due to illness. 12:09 tee time. Think it's like. 85.

After ten holes I was up 4 holes on my opponent in a game of 6-6-6. Beginning on hole 11 I started to throw up a string of doubles with some obs off the tees, etc. lost 7 of final 8 holes to lose the overall.

Yeah I understand why someone wouldn't want to play them all the time, but don't understand someone thinking they aren't fun. It adds a team element, allows you to hit aggressive shots you wouldn't normally take (and with the low stress of the shot it's pleasantly surprising how many can me made), and it allows a normally weak player to go "low" and inevitably the weak player will make a shot or two and get to feel really good about himself.

 
Entering my fourth year hacking away. Made a huge stride forward over the past few weeks. Reverse-K setup. Everything is just clicking by only having a better setup. Getting my right shoulder a bit lower. Making sure my head is behind the ball. Allows me to attack the ball from the inside so much easier. Seems like so long ago that the problem was a slice. Now mi####s are hooks. Sub 80 round is calling my name.

Made a similar change to my setup (after about 10 years) and similar results. Bad news is I'm not getting to play as much this year, so my short game feel is terrible.

Did add a new 3-wood to my bag this week. Tour Edge Exotics XCG6 that I won off ebay for a song. Can't wait to try it out this weekend.
