Im not really sure who this Kevin Kiermaier kid is, but I like him.

Oof.

When shadyridr's the only guy still left in your corner, it might be time to throw in the towel on this.

ETA: For the sake of everyone involved, please PM me if you feel the need to continue this further. No reason to keep this going in the thread.
Don't respond to me, I don't respond to you. Pretty simple. I've been doing it well for a while then you went and screwed it up today. You have done better than limp and dr Doolittle though. Go back to being good, maybe they will follow suit. But probably not.
No, I'm enjoying watching an "educator" not knowing the subtle difference between an adjective and a noun. Also your over-the-top smarmy styling is akin to the kid who was held back a year in school, thinking he's tough because he's now bigger than the other kids. You're giving all the other Indians fans a bad name, probably best if you just never come back.

Then fix your confirmation bias problems. You're looking for stuff like the above, so you comment anytime it happens, but gloss over when it's not because it doesn't fit the story you've already written in your head.

I started a thread detailing my major screw up's last year, no one responded - http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=685900#entry15816965. Unlike most people in the message board world I don't hide from my f up's, I try to learn from them.

Based on what's happened so far this year I am better at some of my weaknesses but not all of them. I made one big mistake in one league keeping an expensive Verlander rather than trusting my numbers and letting him go and a smaller mistake getting a little too greedy with veteran OF's that are not surprisingly unhealthy. For whatever reason it irks you that I am good at finding good cheap pitching. I did again this year. I'm probably overly critical when it comes to arms because I think I can build a staff from a smaller, cheaper pool. Similar story with steals. I de-value them draft day then look for those types during the season to cover injuries/players sucking because those are the types that I usually find on waivers. Apparently it bugs you that I don't make catchers a priority. I think owning Mike Napoli is a headache, that also bothered you. I think the Napoli owner in your league this year probably has a headache. It also bugs you that I use platoons. So what? I choose to pick other players then come back with Corey Dickerson and Drew Stubbs late. Yeah, it's two roster spots for one position, but I got 51 games of 35/14/37/9/.323 (111/45/118/29 over a full season) ball out of them before trading away Dickerson. I think my team is better by doing that. This form of team building riles you up because???...

Anyway, wrapping up this rant. I think you, and a small subset of the others that usually post in here, are morons. It's because you constantly follow me around looking for errors in anything I post because you know that I'll snark back at you. I'm sure there are several others that regularly post on here that have f'd up in posts that I don't respond to because that's not my style. If you're going to be an ### hole though I'll be more than happy to oblige. Personally, I don't think the others really care about it, they don't want to read it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they like to see the same 4 or 5 people constantly bicker. If that's what you guys want I can adapt, which I've done. It's why anytime you respond to me I say Mauer. Dr. D will now be Bryan Shaw. You get on your high horse when you think I write something that is laughable then it comes back and bites you. If you're going to remind me about my f up's, or snark like that bs above with Lincecum, then it's going to go back and forth with a bunch of #### that (I think) most here don't want to read.

Don't get on that horse and you won't hear from me.

Your choice.
Lol I'm in his head

Big fan. Guy has made a career out of nowhere.
I know he was filling in for Myers and now Desmond, was he any kind of prospect or just making the best of not being known around the league? Is he playing himself into a starter role or done when they're both healthy? Thanks Cap.
Well they sure aren't going to bench Jennings or Myers. I imagine one moves to LF and Joyce goes to DH. DeJesus becomes the 4th OF which is what he should be.Kiermaier-Jennings-Myers is a pretty good athletic OF.

KK was not considered a prospect until last year when he broke out a little. I still don't think many consider him one but his game is impressive. He's fast as #### too, can't believe he doesn't have more steals. I think he adds that later.

Yea maybe with a bit more power.

I follow the Rays prospects reallllllly close and I didn't even hear of this guy until last May. I don't think he was even on many top-30 lists before 2013. Crazy.

So the Rangers have lost 21 of their last 24 and have the worst record in MLB. Somehow I managed to see two of the three wins the weekend we were in Arlington.

Aside from the obvious injuries, how have they gotten so bad, so fast?

Good preseason article on him, BP had him rated in their top 100 prospects but most considered him a defense first guy. He's still flying under the radar, only owned in 24% of CBS leagues.
Did they really? I've never seen anybody think of him that highly.
Never mind, that was Odorizzi at 92 that I was thinking of. They had him 8th in rays org:

Physical athlete; good present strength; plus-plus run; excellent range; reads/routes are very good; glove is easy plus; arm is plus; weapon defender in center; good approach at the plate; can swing the bat a little.

The run support Tyson Ross and the other Padres pitchers get is tragic. They are more than 50 points behind the Phillies for last in MLB OPS, they've scored 73 and 75 less runs than the Braves and Red Sox who are 28th and 29th in runs respectively.

Speculation is Gallo will be moved to the OF and be in the Rangers opening day line-up next year. Think Brandon Moss, elite power but tons of Ks.

What sites, twitter etc do you guys go to this time of the summer for the latest trade rumors? (other than mlbtraderumors.com)

A few guys from work draw names out of a hat for the HR Derby each year, one from each league. Pretty excited to pull Stanton and Bautista. I never win this damn thing.

When they showed that graphic of all the winners back to '08.....my first thought was "wow, was the Josh Hamilton year really all the way back to '07"

I'm sure I'm not the only one that completely forgot Morneau won that thing.

From the "Best Sports Logo" thread in the FFA ... am I the only one who never noticed that "win" is underlined in Twins?
It hasn't helped lately
Phil Hughes is trying, it's these other 24 clowns that are mucking things up.
Take it to the "Phil Hughes" sucks thread, please.
Big fish, insignificant pond.

I get chills anticipating how dominant he'll be in September when the Twins are 23 games out.
