Certainly. If Rich Coast wins today England will be out. If Uruguay turns around and beats Italy than the Azzuri will be out as well.

One of my favorite World Cup phenomena. I'm an England fan. I wasn't inclined to root for Costa Rica here. But they played with such heart, that I was totally swayed over. Great, great stuff.

Always a chuckle to see how little respect Italy gets from folks.

It's actually unreal.

We're going to go off the handle massaging a German team that flops consistently, who played a great game (albeit against 10 men for most of the game)?

To this point, the only teams that have made a strong impression on me are Holland, Italy, Germany and Mexico.

That being said, I expect Holland to take a dip (their defense is nowhere as good as they looked), and Mexico likely wont get much further than out of the group.

But jesus... You guys need to give a lil respect to probably the most consistent team of the past decade or two and 2nd winningest in WC history

US handled these guys with ease.

This has been fantastic. 94 for me, although i followed the Italia 90 results.

94 was great since I saw it live. 2002 was great for the US, but overall this has been great to watch.
