Y gets: Dorial Green-Beckham WR TEN, Jay Cutler QB CHI; 2016 3rd round pick (mid), 2016 3rd round pick (late), 2016 4th round pick (late)

16t ppr contract dynasty league. $400 budget. QRRWWTFKDDD

Team A gives Dion Lewis, $3, thru 2018

Sent: 2 2016 2nds (both likely between 2.05-2.08)

How'd I do? Starting QB's are Cam/Alex Smith with only Geno Smith as bench QB

Yeah, there are guys in my leagues who are clearly out of the playoff hunt and looking ahead to next year, yet for whatever damn reason they still place the same value on THIS season for trades that everyone else does. It's stupid.

Just for a made up example of what I mean, I will offer something like I did with Bell for AJ Green, and they guy will say something like "I can't make this deal unless I can at least get some veteran RB who will score some points for me the rest of the year". Makes no sense how some people run their dynasty teams.

I am attempting to work a deal right now with a guy for Freeman who is out of the playoff hunt. I am offering him Keenan Allen and more to the point where even he agrees that next year the player/picks I am offering will be worth more than Freeman and he would prefer it more than Freeman, but he won't do it. He will only deal him to me for a SEVERE overpay. It's silly, and he wonders why his team is bad.

Some people are so worried about what other people teams look like that they allow that to hurt their own teams. Just terrible.
Wow, I can not believe I just read this. People are allowed to run their team however they want. Just because they are out of contention does not mean that they must trade ANY of their assets and if they are going to, they SHOULD ask for the moon...and the stars!

In one of my leagues an owner only has Gurley, I mean ONLY Gurley. I started by offering him AJG straight up, he declined and did say that he did not wish to trade Gurley but his team B-L-O-W-S. So I upped my offer to AJG, Duke, Hurns, Adams, my 1st and 2nd in 2016, he just let it expire, lol... His team.

I am pretty sure I didn't say whatever it is you think I said.

14 team PPR. Rebuild, so this might seem odd. But I'm hoping its a bunch of nothing for a buy low vet I can sell for more later.

Gave:

Jace Amaro

Marquise Lee

2016 3rd

Got:

Desean Jackson

Certainly seems like a bunch of nothing. I think I'd take the empty roster spots over amaro and lee at this point

12 Team PPR, complete rebuild moved Tom Terrific.

Brady

for

Kevin White, Tyrod Taylor, 2016 1st (likely late 1.09-1.12)

wow, that is a great haul for Brady.

I would think either White by himself, or Taylor and the pick would get it done in most 12-team leagues.

Well done by you. Tom isn't worth much more than a mid 1st in my mind. That's 2QB contender overpaying prices right there.

Agree it's a great haul, but IMO Brady has 2-3 years left of uber-elite QB numbers left. If you're winning hundreds of $$$, both this year and next year, hard to put a value on that.

Not sold on White, TBH. Fingers crossed.

16 Team PPR with IDP.

Team A (last place team) gave Adrian Peterson, Jerick McKinnon

Team B (first place) gave Le'Veon Bell

Interesting DWill deal yesterday after games started.

16 team PPR (.25/.5/1) full IDP (not involved)

DWill

for

Crowell/2nd (late)

Gave: L Bell and D Will

Received: Randall Cobb and Ivory

Been in the league 14 yrs and haven't won the big one yet. Hate to trade Bell, but this puts me in better shape this year and still ok for future.

I'm actually considering moving Brady to a contender so I'm interested in what he is fetching. I agree that is more than I expected, but I think that either a good young WR and a 2nd rounder, or a young QB and a 1st rounder is probably fair. I do think he has several years left. Just need someone who agrees.

I dont like that very much. Really no way you could have swung that and kept D Willy? Seems strange

Wow that guy overpaid for Brady
I agree...way too much for a QB in start 1QB unless he is Rodgers/Luck
I wouldn't even do it for them. Too easy to pick up replacement level QB in start 1 leagues. Palmer is outscoring them both, he can be gotten for a 2nd or 3rd rounder outright, same with Rivers. People chuckled at you for going into the year with Dalton/Carr/Bortles as your battery.

This I cant agree with. I will happily do it for Rodgers and feel like I got a total steal doing that for Luck.

Taylor is worthless to me, and a pick in the 9-12 range is as big of a crapshoot as it gets.

I like White, but not as much as I like a top end QB slotted into my lineup. Sure you CAN find waiver gems, but you can find waiver gems at every position also.

...and DWill probably outscores Ivory anyway.

I doubt I would trade Bell for Cobb but understand going for it

12 team PPR with flex

Alfred Blue

for

Dion Lewis

Team getting Blue is 5-4 and has a strong chance this year. Team getting Lewis is 4-5, so still not out of it.

Lewis should cost a lot more than that, IMO.

14 Team - No PPR

Gave:

KWright

Atl D

Got:

Denver D

Matt Bryant

Wright will never start for me and was expendable. Got top D and dome Kicker in case of bad weather for Tucker.

Getting playoff ready.

I would have loved to have kept dwill but two reasons I didn't. First is because trade partner wanted him. 2nd is because steelers bye week is a crucial matchup for me and hoping ivory gets me through it. But yes I agree with you guys that keeping dwill would have been nice and I wouldn't have traded bell for Cobb before the injury for sure.

another D Will trade. 14 team PPR, devy league.

Gave: Snead

Got: D Will, (late) 2nd

I like Snead, (lucked out and got him on waivers early in the season in a few leagues). Am pretty flush w/ wr's in this league, and need a rb badly for a playoff push.

Dynasty - .5 PPR

Both teams are 7-2

I Gave - Mark Ingram - Michael Floyd

I Received - Bell - Osweiler

My roster now - Palmer (not keeper eligible), Stafford, Miller, Martin, Yeldon, West (not keeper eligible), Bell, McKinnon, Cmike (yay.), Fitz, Robinson, Watkins, Kelvin, Gordon, Diggs (not keeper eligible), Tavon, Agholor, DGB, and Eifert

From the Gurley thread. 16 team dynasty .5/1/1.5 ppr

Team A gave: Antonio Brown, early 2016 1st (prolly 1.02-1.04)

Team B gave: Gurley, Dorsett, late 2016 1st, late 2nd, early 3rd.

More than free? Yeah probably
I'll pile on here as well. I can't see a scenario where I would feel good about starting Alfred Blue so why trade away a proven very good player for a proven mediocrity? I'd rather swallow the roster spot even if the league doesn't have an IR slot.

Team A gives:
Luck, Andrew
Bell, Le'Veon PIT RB
Nelson, Jordy GBP WR
Thomas, Julius JAC TE

-for-

Team B gives:
Wilson, Russell
Cooper, Amari
Watkins, Sammy BUF WR

I was team A. Hated trading Luck and Bell away, but at 7-2 with a MASH unit of an offense, I went all in for this year. Salary/contract year league. The move did save me a chunk of money. Flame away.

What year did you make this trade? No way you could have JUST done this, right?

Why?
head scratcher... the team getting Fitz/Olsen is 9-0, other team is a playoff contender at 6-3

I'll probably be in the minority here but as "all in this year" trades go that's pretty good expected future value.

I'm probably one of the Wr-heaviest dyno owners strategy wise though.

However, as far as "all-in this year" trades go that's also pretty mediocre value for this year.
