**Official 2015 Off-Season Dynasty Completed Trades Thread** (3 Viewers)

10 team auction dynasty w/contracts. 2 qb, ppr, $155 budget

Traded:

Aaron Rodgers 1 year/$29.5

Received:

Bridgewater 3/$.75

Watkins 3/$.25

Coates 4/$.25

I've loved owning Rodgers, but I thought the value here was too great and there should be plenty of FA QB this year
Rarely could we say this in a 2QB league but that's a fantastic deal for Rodgers. Give me the 3 easy.

12 Team PPR

Roddy White for 1.10
Sort of understand the short term thinking but you should be able to get a younger guy who will produce better for the pick, easily.

Tiered PPR .5/1/1.5 Superflex

Gave: Charles Johnson and KaDeem Carey

Got: 1.12

Johnson was my WR7 behind Jeffery, Cobb, Floyd, Sanders, Tate and Maclin.
robbery... trading 2 backups for a 1st is always a huge steal.
I like Charles Johnson but that's a good deal.

12 team Ppr

Demarco Murray and Allen Hurns

For

1.01 and James jones
Sounds about right.
Maybe, but IMO the team getting Murray is thinking too much short term. Wouldn't be surprised to see Gurley outscore Murray this year if he's healthy. Gordon could as well if he didn't like Gurley.

1.04 for Demarius Thomas.

Keeper league. I think the guy panicked because of Peyton's uncertain future after this year

12 team PPR

Team A got Dez, JMatt, Forsett and Olsen

Team B got Evans, Watkins, Morris, ASJ and 2016 1st (7-12)
Idp (obviously)

Gave Duron Carter, d poe, perry Riley

got Paul Worrilow
Poe is probably more of a difference-maker but at a position that is less desired. If you believe in Worrilow long term a solid buy

Just went down in a 12 team ppr. Start qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/wr/flex/te. Not involved.

Team A gave:

Demaryius Thomas

3.01

Team B gave:

1.11

2.01

2016 1st (likely late)

2016 1st (likely late)

Smart move getting rid of Worrilow while his value is high. He is one of those LB's, that Altanta would love to replace but nothing has gone right. One of the worst pFF scores from a year ago. Guy is a liability.

As is frequently the case in IDP, a liability they can't replace is exactly what you want. They will keep running at him, he'll keep making a ton of tackles 6 yards down the field, and you'll keep racking up fantasy points. Miles Burris is another great example.

You think?
Well, the 1.4 will net one of Gurley, Gordon, Cooper, or White. Not a bad replacement for DT, who's value will most likely be affected when Manning retires after this season. Not a horrible trade for the guy.

So because his value might go down for some people next year or the year after sell for a price you expect he will be worth then?

I would suggest keeping a player if you can't even get 1/2 of what he is actually worth

Exactly. This was very much a short term move. He should be a good ff lb while not being a good nfl lb. Long term he won't have a job without improving but for 2015 I think he'll do well.

It's still weird to me that people think Cooper or White are better than actual established WR1s. At least one of them will likely end up somewhere like NYJ or Cleveland, which will be worse than Denver post-Peyton, imo. Throw in the fact that one or both could be more Tavon Austin or Cordarelle Patterson than OBJ or Evans, and it is just that much weirder. If I owned DT, I'd be looking to sell him high now because I agree Peyton retiring will drop his value significantly, from high end WR1 to low end WR1. That kind of drop probably drops his value by like a first rounder, but he'll still be worth 2+ firsts. Getting a single high first round pick is not selling high, though, it's giving away a dollar for maybe 30-40 cents.

I'll trade the 1.01 all day for DT. Please give him to me. Stud wideout for the next 5 or 6 years for a player who may or may not be good? Donezo

14 team superflex league, 1 PPR but 1.5 for TEs. Our rookie draft occurs before the regular NFL draft. Made 2 deals:

Gave: Forte, Sankey

Got: J. Hill, 4.01

Gave: 2016 1st (should be a playoff team making it most likely 9-14), Manziel, G.Escobar

Got: Glennon and the 2.02 which I used to take Maxx Williams

I dont mind selling Forte, but it feels like Sankey is basically a throw in, and I think thats selling too soon. I like his chances in year 2 if they can get decent qb play.

Second one, i never like selling a future 1st for a 2nd. Youll always wish you had that pick next year

I keep seeing Knile Davis in deals and I wonder how many involve Charles owners versus owners anticipating his future value once Charles is done.

These are not trades I was involved in but both went down this weekend in FFPC league I'm in an both were major trades:

Team A Got:

Dem Thomas

Eifert

Jonathan Stewart

Kendall Wright

Team B Got:

Dez Bryant

CJ Anderson

Kenny Britt

Team A then got:

Julio

Blount

2016 4th rounder

Team C got:

Jordy Nelson

Eifert

Spiller

So in summary Team A gave Dez, Jordy, Spiller, CJ Anderson and got Julio, Dem Thomas, Jonathan Stewart, Kendall Wright, Blount and a 2016#4.

I feel like team A just made trades to make trades and ended up worse off for it

Team A traded Dez for Julio and Demaryius. Hard to end up worse off with that, regardless of the STRONG supporting cast that went along with the Dez side.

I dont like the first deal for team A. I would take Dez over DT somewhat easily, and Cj anderson over Eifert/Stewart/Wright

I do like the next deal though getting Julio for Nelson/Eifert/SPiller

how much of a difference is there between Julio and Jordy? There's some for sure but there seems to be more of a perceived difference than a real difference. Really just depends what you think of Eifert and Spiller plus the value of TEs. I'd take Julio in shallow leagues but in the leagues I actually play in, give me the trio.

12 team .5 PPR

Team A Gets:

Jordy Nelson

Team B Gets:

Brandin Cooks

1.01
Market value greatly favors 1.1/Cooks. Nelson turns 30 next month and while he has a 5 year contract you can't put too much value in years 4 and 5 of such a deal. Seems like a classic sell high. You play to win the game, but that much value could have gotten you a younger stud.

If you drop the 1.1 down to a 1.5 I'd be more likely to take Jordy, but 1.1 has too much value, either as a trade chip or in taking Gurley.

Bit of an overpay but Jordy can be a difference maker many weeks. Cost of doing business.
nelson and its not close.
The only thing to keep in mind is that we're firmly in silly season. I believe in many, if not most, leagues, Cooks + 1.01 could get you a younger top tier WR than Jordy. Find someone particularly high on Cooks and I bet you could get Dez or Julio for that. So if you can essentially flip Jordy for one of them, that makes it a really solid deal.

Jamaal. Seems to me like you could drop all picks and it would be closer to even.
