Personally, it's not so much that I am writing it off, but that I really have no idea what to think or expect from this team at this point. It wouldn't shock me if they won 42-10 or if they lost 42-10. So I am just trying to enjoy it as it goes and see what happens in the final 3 weeks.

Ok, maybe a little overboard, but overall I still believe in the point.

 
My playoff opponent has the last 3 players in our matchup going in this game. All Cardinals (Palmer, Brown, Defense) so if we're getting crushed while I am there watching, it's going to be exponentially worse.

Personally, it's not so much that I am writing it off, but that I really have no idea what to think or expect from this team at this point. It wouldn't shock me if they won 42-10 or if they lost 42-10. So I am just trying to enjoy it as it goes and see what happens in the final 3 weeks.

yeah, me too. but i also never would have guessed they would beat Pats either. I really think Arizona wins but considering they aren't always great on the road i am fine sitting back and just watching. for me, i am at least content with the season that they didn't quit on Chip or give up as a team. after seeing them bounce back the last 2 weeks i'm ok taking the rest of the season in stride

 
Didinger talked this morning about the fact that in each of the last 2 games, they have only blitzed 5 times. That is way down from prior games, particularly TB and DET. Relying on the front 3 and Barwin to get the pressure, because they just can't trust the secondary. So to say that Davis does not scheme or adjust (possibly that was a facetious comment) is far from true.

And I have not been Davis's biggest supporter.

But it will be interesting to see how they deal with Palmer and those 3 receivers. If Palmer gets too much time, he will find an open guy. Blitz him, and you really risk a big play.

 
Great new title. Always hated McCoy. Hopefully he has now checked out for the season. I can't have have running over the Skins tomorrow.

He sucks. I'm not the only one who thinks so. He's a average coach at best who can't scheme to save his life. The only times the defense looks good has nothing to do with him. We have some good players

I would think we go in with a similar plan as the last 2 weeks. This Cardinals team is better than the bills or banged up pats though

Davis moved Jenkins out of the slot for the DET and TB games, and blitzed waaaaay to much in both those games as well. Putting Jenkins back down covering the slot in the nickel package, and the pressure Cox, Graham, Barwin and Curry have brought without blitzing has really stabilized the defense.

That being said, ARI is 17-2 with Palmer over the last 2 seasons. On 10 days rest, this Cardinals offense will be a huge challenge. IMO to win they need a big ST/D play and the offense needs to score some points.

As likely as they were last time, and they did. And I think we beat NYG. Next week's game is 10X as important as tonights. Lets just keep it close and not have any injuries and I'm happy.

I won't be if we "just keep it close" if we had a shot at winning.

Dallas is in full tank mode now that they're eliminated. Plus Wash will have Revenge in mind from a few weeks ago. No way they lose. NYG showed they can be dangerous today and I'm sure they'd love to knock us out after being embarrassed twice in two years.

So every game counts. We really need to win tonight to help our cause. The Wash only means they can clinch with a win if we lose tonight.

It only matters if we lose one of the other two. Win or lose tonight, the Eagles would win the division with wins in week 16 and 17. A W tonight would make next weeks game for the division and week 17 meaningless for the Eagles...so it DOES mean something.

No matter how you slice things up though, next week is a MUST WIN in every scenario. This week is not.

It is must win next week but if we lose tonight, a win next week doesn't guarantee us anything.

 
Hope sanchez is cut after this season. His job was to help us win a game if bradford went down and he failed miserably. If we won that Miami game we would be in such a better spot. Hope that guy is gone asap

Need to try to bring back Sam and then bring in one of the castoffs as well as a mid round pick.

 
Win or lose, the last two weeks told me that this team has NOT given up. This would be a signature win for Chip, right up there with NE from two weeks ago. Not going to be easy, that's for sure, but if they are a playoff team this game provides a measuring stick and I'd like to think we can win this one if the team plays well tonight.

Eagles control their own destiny right now, let's not give that power away to someone else because we might be able to get it back. Time to get hot and roll into the playoffs 9-7, winners of 5 in a row. How great would it be to win 'em all after that MIA-TB-DET debacle?

Big night from the pass rushers needed. Special teams needs some plus plays.

Eagles control their own destiny REGARDLESS of tonights result. The only thing tonight could change is what the Eagles need to do in week 17.

Would love to do that. Most people in here are saying not to rest anyone though.

Would hate to see seattle round 1, hope minny keeps winning.
