*Official 2015 Philadelphia Eagles* - Winning when it doesnt count (2 Viewers)

We offered 2 first round picks and a player to TB. We were never serious

@joelklatt: Per @JayGlazer the #Eagles offered the Bucs two number 1's a QB and a player for the first overall pick

I always believed Chip was telling the truth when he said they would not mortgage future for MM. The media--and not just sports radio but even respected papers that should know better--have no other relevant narrative but to continually prognosticate on what Chip will do. I don't believe for a second he was shipping Murray, Bradford or Cox out.

Only Chip knows what Chip knows. I do wish people would stop assuming the guy is always lying to us when there never had been credible proof of that. Let the man do his job. We wanted out of the box and we got it. What's the worst that can happen? We don't win a Lombardi again...?

Glad this is finally over with although now it will be three months of handwringing over Bradford...

well more then 2 1sts and a player. you forgot "a QB" too. 2 1sts, Bradford, and i'm sure a pretty good player is a legit offer. if it was Cox it's technically 4 1sts for 1. but yeah, glad it is over for now, though i know the sports radio will keep it going. it will take awhile for me to get excited about Bradford leading the team. But i figure if i could somehow stomach Vick i'm sure i'll get there

Ok CB or WR now.
or OL. I don't believe in Babre, Tobin or Gardner. Peters is still good but declining and Mathis is old seems like he could be out the door at any time. I think this O really struggles if the line isn't very good to great, and only 2 spots are really set with guys in their prime.

sorry if already mentioned, but in case it was't the deal to Tenn sounded like a solid offer from the Eagles. can't say Chip didn't try:

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have offered Tennesee Brandon Boykin, Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, two first-round picks, a third-rounder and more.

kelly is out of his mind for offering all that, and tenn is even dumber for passing on it.

Yeah, definitely have to give Chip credit that he tried. Kind of glad they didn't take it too, but i am happy he tried like that. Really think anything more would have been way out of line, i do think Tenn is silly for not taking it, unless they are convinced that Mariota will be a top 8 QB for many years. But seeing that offer, i can at least say i am happy about it all. I'm glad Chip really tried and he did what he could

ETA: :lmao: heard Bradford was also included. I think that was a safe assumption, but yes Titans were a little silly not to take that

Act now and we'll also throw in Howie Roseman!!

From @daringantt

Randy Gregory and Shane Ray must be nervous wrecks. If only they had a way to relax, take the edge off a little tonight.

Love that the Cowgirls didn't get Gordon or Gurley.
Eagle fans always have the boys on the mind...lol...win something for Gods sake and then run your filthy philly mouth...
Says the guy emulating a sci fi character and lurking in a Philly thread as a closet cowboy fan living in south Philly.
No kinda bigger scumbag. Makes me sick when I see fools like this in my neighborhood.
